I'm going to be listing quite a few hoops in the coming days, some Christmassy, the rest are sweary. All hoops are an absolute bargain at just £10 each (p&p is £2, UK only). Each hoop is individually designed and utterly unique 💕

All hoops in this post are 4 inches (10cm), apart from the 'Joy' hoop which is 5 inches (13cm).

At our exhibition I had a really interesting conversation with a lady who didn't appreciate my sweary hoops, she told me that the way in which we use language is really important. I couldn't agree with her more....

Throughout the week we will be encouraging visitors to contribute to a friendship quilt. Squares will already be cut out, you can just have a relax and embroider any message you like (no experience necessary as we'll be on hand to help). Kate, from Somer Craft Collective and our resident quilting expert, will then incorporate these into a quilt. Neat! 😍

Getting really excited for our exhibition from 21st to 26th June at I'll be displaying my embroidered hoops and selling some sweary/nice hoops too.

Really starting to gear up for the exhibition at from 21st to 26th June 🤗 As well as my hoops I'll also have smaller, more sweary ones for sale 😉

We are all starting to get very excited about our Somer Craft Collective exhibition taking place from 21st to 26th June at Our little collective has an eclectic mix of crafts and styles. I focus on embroidery, always using vintage fabrics, relating to our current government. They sure do give me a lot to work with!

My lovely collective will be posting over the next few weeks with snippets of their own work and more info about the exhibition. We do hope you are able to pay us a visit!

Today's prompt was just made for me...colour! I love colour, in my hoops and everyday life. I make most of my own clothes and honestly, some days, i like like I've been the victim of an explosion in a paint factory 😂🌈

If you look closely enough you can just make out where our hamster had a go at me last night. We're not on speaking terms today 🐹

Today's prompt for is 'learning curve'. Who knew when you set out there is so much to think about (a lot of people, i know)! The making is really just the first step on a very long road. It teaches you valuable lessons though so its well worth it (I do believe I'm morphing into a 'cup half full' person)! 🙂 I've posted a pic of my as it's what I'm currently looking at and a good example, so much to consider! Day 5 of by and the theme is 'newest make'. I've been working on some projects and this sweet little hoop is the one I'm focusing on today. I'm getting distracted by embroidering artwork on some shoes though! Must.stay.focussed 😁

Day 3 of and the theme is 'Beliefs and Values'. I think mine are pretty simple (and actually this last year has had a major influence), do kind things, take care of others and yourself, try not to be a dick. Not always possible but as long as you do your best I think that's fine 🙂💕👌
