Wow, it has been a very busy last couple of weeks to get this new shop completed within the timescale given, where I have managed to get to a point where this shop is operational and the completion of the accommodation above many thanks to my helpers, builders over this time, and Norton Electrical Wholesale Supplies Ltd for the materials.

This week I have been installing some outside lighting within a fantastic new garden created by R T Groundwork’s and sjwgardendesign, looking forward to getting some evening photos.

When you can’t get the van close enough to the build site to unload the tools and materials, you have to improvise.

What a week! Here’s a little peak of what I got my self into this week. Not fully finished yet but many thanks to Shoscombe village hall committee for allowing me to carry out works to the electric cupboard.

I haven’t a posted in a while, some decorative light fittings I have just installed in a returning customers kitchen, these look fantastic and finish the kitchen off really nicely.

It has been a manic few weeks since the last post, work ranging from EICRs to consumer unit upgrades, to additional outdoor lighting and lighting improvements to properties also helping another company with installing a commercial fire alarm system in an old aircraft hanger.

This was a great change today, I haven’t done this in a while 😁 16 conduit drop completed and installed on the walls.

This frustrates me, us electricians are more qualified than a lot of meter engineers and yet we can not safely isolate supplies when we need to but the meter engineers can.

An interesting find today… poor little mouse 🐭 how it managed to get inside this junction box I shall never know.

I have had the pleasure over this weekend in upgrading 45 x 600 x 600 grid fluorescent light fittings with 27 x led backlit panel fittings, this has made a vast improvement to this large office.

This week has been very interesting, I have had the opportunity to carry out some work at this 92 bed hotel. Which has Taken me back to my apprenticeship years over the last few days. There has been some real eye openers 😳😬 items that should be archived. I have appreciated the challenge in which this has given me, I am looking forward as to what is next in the pipeline.
