A nice project for one our landscaping customers. 11 large planters with a attachable mesh climbing panel.
Plates folded on the brake press , fabricated , welded and dressed smooth 👌
Enjoyed making these big tall social tables for my old rugby club. Made from heavy duty 80 x 80mm and 60 x 40mm steel , spray painted grey then topcoat black. Perfect for the inevitable post game entertainment 🍺🍺🍺😄
Happy customer photo! Only a small one for us with a couple of custom sized brackets but it finishes off a lovely shelf made from a reclaimed church beam 🙂.
Where it all began! We produce high quality industrial style shelf brackets and hanging rails.
These are made at our Bath workshop from 40mm x 6mm or 30mm x 6mm high grade black steel flat.
Holes are countersunk to take a woodscrew and all edges are sanded to ensure a even finish and no burrs or sharp edges.
Brackets are cleaned of any excess cutting fluids and a coat of clear wax is applied if desired.
Brackets stocked suit a standard 225mm scaffold board but and size can be produced within reason.
Almost all shelves in the photos are customer sourced but we are able to provide the shelf cut to length and waxed to suit the standard size or smaller.
So this is what we do.....
Amazing what you can do with a bit of wood , steel and wax!
A long shelf with a matching hanging rail and fixing brackets finished with a dark oak wax. Made from 38mm thick timber and 40mm x 6mm steel flat its a real eye catcher.
Made for a local customer as a shelf to hang running medals on so he has a lot of running to do to fill that up!
Lookout for the reclaimed table top with steel legs coming next 😄
A few customer photos of a finished table using a set of our v shaped table legs and a coffee table using a steel box frame.
1....2....3....4!!
Welded , cleaned , painted and finished!
Thanks to Dan Brown for giving me this frame to make for him. Check out his instagram for what he's all about with wood (and quality metalwork of course 😁)

Industrial/rustic style shelf brackets.
These have been a big success with DIY enthusiasts and furniture makers since we started producing these with many different sizes and designs possible.
These come in a variety of sizes. Small 10cm deep shelves , 15cm deep shelves over radiators or deeper 22.5cm to suit a scaffold board. Custom sizes can also be produced.
Made from 3cm or 4cm wide x 6mm thick mild steel they're solid and combined with good fixings I've loaded a pair with 200kg+!
We continue to produce stock in all types so if your interested in turning a bit of unused timber into a nice shelf or looking to make some DIY shelves that look different to the norm then send us a message
Love it when customers send photos of their DIY wooden shelves especially when they look this good. They even outshine the brackets! 😉
Recently the guys at folkhaus asked me if I could produce some coffee table legs similar to the brackets we supply them with for their shelves. We both reckon they look pretty good!
Here are a few photos of the brackets we produce coupled with his shelves and tabletops. "Folkhaus" If you'd like to check them out on fb or etsy.
A fire pit made from stainless steel sheet rolled to a half circle with stainless steel hollow section rolled to form the legs
Another happy customer! It's great to see the final result of the brackets we make.
Here are a L shaped set bigger than the standard scaffold board size. Nicely complimenting the customers own boards
A supplier of ours has been producing weight plates and dumbbells during the lockdown period. They had a demand for the barbells which we were happy to produce for them to compliment the plates they were making.
Something a little different to all the shelf brackets.... After a customer was very satisfied with a set of decorative brackets I produced for him , he asked me if i could produce a pair of curved steel shields and was very happy with the result 😊.
I have a spare if anyone is interested!
Had a couple of pieces of stainless steel flat going to scrap so decided to produce a couple of brackets from them instead.
These have been lightly polished to retain the stainless steels natural dull light grey finish.
Would give a more modern look than the regular steel brackets and coupled with a lightly varnished timber would make a lovely shelf.
Recently made this large stainless steel planter. Rolled strips of sheet welded together to form a nice sized planter for a small tree or a arrangement of plants.
Just roughly polished to give a more industrial/rustic looking finish.
