Enjoyed a lovely evening (in Bath’s most wonderful bookshop) listening to Rachel from speak about her career and new book on growing cut flowers. As she spoke she created a beautiful display in this vintage mantle vase (my photo doesn’t do it justice). She is a big fan of growing perennials and woody plants to cut - all the flowers in the display are currently growing on her land. Such an inspiration! 🌷🌺🌸

Another order on its way!

I’m enjoying using old vintage ribbons to pop around some of the orders 🎀 I found a load of these ribbons in an old sewing table that I recently sold. The treasures inside took me a while to work through, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! So pleased these things can be enjoyed again!

This little room originally was the kitchen in our house when it was built in the late 1800s. I’ve been using it as a store room for my shop, but have managed to relocate things and claim it as a little snug free of a tv and the kids toys! Long may it last! 💛

This is my favourite spot on a local walk. We were out this way to do some apple pressing in a village pub - lots of people turned up with sackfuls of apples and we all enjoyed watching them being pressed and sampling the fresh apple juice.. Magic! 🍎 🍏

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth 1926-2022

Such incredibly sad news. Such a loss. What an amazing, inspiring woman. I had the privilege to meet her at work about 15 years ago and it was such an honour. I will never forget it. Her service, her faith and her commitment was a true inspiration.

Lovely to see apples growing bigger on trees and slowly turning red.. We visited our friends garden today which is home to apple trees of all shapes and sizes. Grateful to eat supper sitting in the shade of this one! Hope you’re all bearing up in the heat 🌞🍏
