But hopefully we'll have some action in 2017

We're disappointed to report that we're not running the Spiegeltent this year.
This is mostly because our preferred site on the Recreation Ground is unavailable, due to the increased length of the Rugby Season, and the increased size of Bath Rugby's temporary stand, which now takes them much longer to take down and requires hauling across the space where we would normally be relaxing.
We researched many other sites in the city but none were suitable, for a variety of reasons (it's a complex and large installation needing a flat area with good access).
We have a really good idea for 2016, if certain preconditions can be resolved.

we're disappointed the Ball isn't happening, but we'll still be having fun - and you can still dress up!

Satyrday Night's alright!
The Masquerade Ball on Saturday night has been put off
BUT we're still putting on The Carneyvillains AND Elle & The Pocket Belles, and it'll only cost you £6. Doors Open 8pm.
Here's what The Masquerade Ball people are saying:

" Handmade Events regret that the Masquerade Ball has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We are extremely sorry for the late announcement and any inconvenience caused. Refunds will be processed this afternoon by Bath Box Office and dinner tickets via Paypal in next 24hrs.

Please note that some of the original line-up will still be performing in the Spiegeltent on Saturday which will be open for an evening of live music including The Carny Villains and Elle & the Pocket Belles. Tickets £6 on the door, start 8pm.
