Yesterday it was Mother’s Day.

At Bath Mandarin school our children made crafting flowers for their wonderful mums.

We really had a joyful Chinese New Year Celebration this morning. We are so lucky to many supportive and helpful parents, who assisted us with decoration of CNY event. Our children and their siblings learned how to use chopsticks, say some greetings in Mandarin, write Mandarin characters with ink, make lucky envelopes and cut out Chinese dragons. The children’ s beautiful singing in Mandarin and playing cello from Ysa of MO2 Class made us truely warm and proud.

A massive thank you to our amazing parents.

So glad to say that Bath Mandarin School will open another Mandarin Class called Pre-GCSE Mandarin for children aged 11 to 14 starting after Christmas holiday. Please contact us via [email protected] if you would like to secure a space for your child.
Time: 10am to 12am on Sundays at term only.
Location is at The Hive Community Centre

We had a very good session yesterday.

Yesterday some beautiful and delicious cupcakes were brought in by Selena's mother, which really made us feel very special and warm on Sunday morning. Before giving out, we had double-checked the children’s food allergies and intolerances. Many thanks to her.

It was of pleasure to see that children greeted each other with Good morning in Mandarin instinctively when they came in. During the lesson break time, they had a pleasant and enjoyable time playing board games together.
This is precisely what the community is for!

What an amazing term gone!
Today it was last session of term 1 and we were so glad these hardworking children enjoyed it so much with some movie snacks and a mandarin cartoon.

Have a lovely half term and stay relaxed!
