Midford Herefords
Pedigree Herd of Polled Herefords breeding high health, performance recorded bulls and heifers
One year on!
One year ago today Midford 1 Ravette 1st won female champion at Agri Expo, today we have a full brother running around the calf pen! Ravette is a serious producer for us and is one of our leading donor cows! At 10 years old she still has a flawless udder and is still a powerhouse.
Looking forward to seeing this lad growβ¦
A couple of weeks ago we said goodbye to our stockbull - Kinglee 1 The New One! After two crops of calves, with a third crop on the way he has really made a mark at Midford.
We canβt wait to see his daughters become the backbone of our herd, we have high hopes for the cows theyβll become. We also have a really promising group of bulls coming through from him this year, we hope to get these out to calf shows in coming months.
We would like to wish Lloyd and Rhian Williams at Wilcourt Herefords all the best with him!
Midford 1 Brownie 1st also joined the Wilcourt herd as she was unable to travel to NI following her sale in DGS23 with Bluetongue Restrictions.
Very excited to be representing the UK Hereford Youth and Hereford Cattle Society at the World Hereford Conference next year! Truly honoured to be selected from an outstanding youth programme here in the UK!
We are excited to announce that after careful consideration, our team heading to the next World Hereford Conference in Kansas City, USA is -
Will Awan
Cara Doggett
Ethan Brook
Iona Smith
Emma Dexter
They, alongside five other applicants have been put through their paces to secure their place on the team. Our judges said that the overall standard was very high and it was a very close competition.
The team will look forward to attending.

On the tup side of things our yearling tup sold away to D Loosemore & J Edwards, we canβt wait to see what he can do here!
