Sourdough baked on site.
We are very proud that all of our baked goods are baked by our wonderful team of chefs on site. We were buying in the sourdough for use in our cheese toasties but now even that is produced in our kitchen. Cheese, bread, pastries and cakes all made in the same building as our cafe, you can't get more local and more fresh than that

Cheese School. While lots of children were going back to school, we held our first cheese making masterclass last week. Attendees spent the day with our cheesemaking experts: making cheese, touring the dairy, learning about the history and different methods of cheesemaking, and feasted on a cheese board for lunch. A very cheesy day.
We have another cheese making masterclass coming up on Wednesday 18th September and there are still some spaces, if you'd like to join us please book through our website.
Attendees make their own Bath soft cheeses, they make Mozzarella, and get involved with making the Wyfe of Bath, placing the curds in the moulds. It's a full day from pastries and coffees in the morning to going home with a goodie bag of cheese and cheese related treats at the end.
