All of the figures waiting patiently in the drying room/ sauna, to be hollowed out in the last session of Sculpt Like An Old Master next week.
So pleased with everyone's outcomes and looking forward to seeing them fired.
However, the fun doesn't stop here as next term we will be sculpting a new pose. starting on the 21st of May, which can be booked using the links below.

Sculpt like an old master's Week 4 progress.

Some Technical Drawings from the Tuesday Afternoon session of Sculpt Like An Old Master.
Only one session left next week, before the new block of teaching begins on the 21st of May.

Figures made last term. Fine work made by mostly complete beginners. All have been made to a 1/3 scale and so they work together as a group. Look like they are chatting.

Heads made last term are doing fine. They have been cut open, hollowed out and are now slowly drying out in preparation for firing.

Some pictures of last year’s exhibition of sculptures completed by everyone who is part of Sue Larner’s two sculpture groups. Great selection of sculptures on display at Walcot Chapel in Bath. The exhibition will take place again next year in September. Poking forward to it !
