Fitness instructor. Personal Trainer Strength and conditioning classes for 11-15 year olds.
We had a great first week back last week thanks to everyone who came along to the Thursday session but also our new GIRLS ONLY session on Saturday…
It’s really lovely to see those who are familiar with the class progress and really get to grips with what they are doing.
Strength training has so many benefits for all ages, helping increase confidence and encouraging healthy habits is a huge step in tween/teens to building that strong foundation which will hopefully stay with them for years to come.
If you have an 11-15 year old who would like to come along to a session let me know.
Thank you to everyone who has come along to the first two weeks of the summer classes…we’ve had such a great couple of sessions. With no class next week I’m now taking bookings for 12th and 19th August - if you think your teen would benefit from a circuit based strength and conditioning class then just drop me a DM.

The sessions will be running on the following dates 22/7, 29/7, 12/8 and 19/8 and spaces are filling up so if you wanted your tween/teen to join us please DM me for more details or to book them on.

The benefits of strength training for tweens and teens …
When we talk about strength training what do we actually mean? For me it's not just about lifting weights that are too heavy, trying to gain big muscles. In fact, trying to build muscle before children are ready can put too much strain on their young muscles and tendons.
However, age appropriate strength training can help in many ways. It can help endurance and increase muscle power. It increases bone mineral density and helps with motor performance skills. It can also help in other sports performance and contributes towards their overall health and well-being.
It also has many mental health benefits too… It enhances cognitive function, improves focus, helps beat stress and boosts a positive mood.
I want to help kids feel stronger, physically and mentally, empowering them to make healthy habits and lay foundations that will stay strong as they grow.
Just let me know if your teen/tween would like to try a class.
