Research has found that regular movement or physical activity can release the ‘feel-good’ hormones that help boost mood, alertness and self-esteem whilst also reducing stress and anxiety. Just a short 10–15-minute burst of brisk walking can help us to feel better.

There are many points in the day when we find ourselves waiting for things. Waiting in line for your morning coffee, waiting for the microwave to warm up your lunch. We all end up waiting around at some point in the day. During these moments, get in some movement. Even small movements when you are waiting around, such as stretching or even walking in place. These can all help you achieve your goals, whether big or small. Any movement has been found to help us, so even on the busiest days, try and get moving.

Movement comes in all different forms and looks different for everyone. So, don’t go around comparing your movement to others. Remember, you don’t have to be super sporty to get the mental health benefits of movement. Focus on yourself and do not feel pressured to keep up with someone else.

181 days is the time that, on average, it will take from a house being listed to the completion of the sale. In simpler terms, if you list your house in the first week of May, you will be in your new home around the second week of November.

So, act sooner rather than later, if you want to be in your new home by the time the December frost covers the streets.

Trends in current market data are crucial to look at when giving landlords up-to-date information about how quickly their property will let and why.

Currently, the data shows that, over the last 12 months, the property market has seen three-bed homes sell to completion 56% of the time. A likely factor is due to their versatility in being a sweet spot for many types of buyers - be it young families or a professional couple wanting a home study.

Bath landlords should take this into account when they are looking at properties to let. Landlords need to ensure that they are investing in homes with optimal saleability, ensuring the best future for their investment as is possible.

Well, this is actually DOWN compared to this time last year (only by 1%...but still). However, when compared to the peak of 2021, we are still at a 9% INCREASE.

Yes, that’s correct. On average, since the start of the turn of the millennium, homeowners in the Bath area have seen gains at an average of 8% growth year-on-year.

When looking at this number it is easy to forget about the 79% inflation over these 23 years. So the ‘real value’ is then around - £6,910/year.
