We, like so many others, were very sad to hear of the death of Kris Hallenga. A fierce campaigner for her charity , Kris regularly lit up the Bath Half with her enthusiasm and drive. She will be sorely missed. โค๏ธ

Congratulations to Lexi Chambers on an extraordinary record-breaking performance, breaking the world record for completing a half marathon in a non racing wheelchair.
Finishing in 1 hour, 55 minutes, and 55 seconds, Lexi shattered the previous record by an astonishing 10 minutes and 23 seconds.

The Bath Half Marathon
Established in 1982 the Bath Half Marathon is the largest single-day fundraising & sporting mass participation event in the South-West of England raising over ยฃ2.25M alone in 2017.
The fast & flat course takes you through the iconic city of Bath and is famous for its large crowds lining the course creating a fantastic atmosphere in the city.
Kenyan Robert Mbithi holds the male course record from 2016 running 1:01:45 & British Liz Yelling still holds the female course record of 1:09.27 from 2007. The youngest female athlete to ever win the Bath Half Marathon is Becky Briggs, who broke her own U20 British Record to win the race in 2020.
In 2017, 12,748 runners finished the race. Well over ยผ of Million people have taken part since 1982 raising tens of millions of pounds since 2000 for over 135 charities
