Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to take some pretty photos of the finished chairs before I took them back home this afternoon! So these will have to do! 😀

Quite a transformation and I think they’ve come up lovely!

Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint UK Ash and the wood has had 3 coats of lovely Osmo oil to bring out that fabulous grain!

Another beautiful day! I could get used to Autumns like this!

After a lovely refreshing walk around a local reservoir with Barney this morning I went to collect 4 of 8 Ercol chairs which will be painted to match the beautiful Ercol table I painted for my client Tracy a couple of years ago!

Better get sanding!

Speaking of moods, here is the mood board for the gorgeous Beautility I’m currently working on! My client has chosen quite a bold colour, very excited to see it all come together at the end! 😃

I do need to tell you though that my order book for commissions is now FULL up to Christmas and I’ve just taken my first order for January!

My lovely customer Tracy got in touch again as she wanted to update her solid pine bedside drawers.

So we stripped off all the chalk paint, gave them new paint job, antique oak stained tops and new handles from Knobbles and Bobbles Ltd

They now look fresh and bright and are ready to go back home!

Gosh is it Friday already!

What a busy week! And the orders keep on rolling in which is absolutely fantastic! I’m so grateful for all your lovely business!

I’m almost there with removing all the chalk paint, although I haven’t quite decided how I’m going to tackle the fiddly bits! 🤔

My lovely client Owen loved his vintage cabinet and had had it repapered in a paper I actually really loved, but! he had a more Art Deco look in mind for it and had it couriered up to me all the way from South Wales!

We worked together on the design and after sending him colour and paper samples he chose this beautiful art deco fan design which together with the gorgeous Manor Green by Fusion Mineral Paint, the natural wood and gold details has completed transformed a plain wooden cabinet into something rather special!

Good Friday Evening!

Well we are back from our little holiday to the absolute beauty of Northumberland! As it’s been a while since we’ve been up there I’d forgotten just how stunning it is!

Lots of lovely beach walks, kayaking, sea swimming and pubs! My perfect holiday!

I finally got these lovely bedsides staged today and they will be heading home to my lovely Sis tomorrow!

These very solid bedside drawers of which there are 2, are next up to receive the Gracie’s Attic treatment!

The lovely chunky wooden tops will be stripped back and refinished. The rest will be painted in a light grey to compliment the deep blue walls they will be sitting against. Handles still tbc but I’ve got a feeling they will be very pretty! 😍

This beautiful vintage dressing table has had one hell of a glow up! I did intend to keep more of the veneer but it just wasn’t in good enough condition unfortunately.

The drawers have been lined with that lovely paper you’ll remember from my last commission piece as it suited the style perfectly!
