DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGER

JADE Windows are a family run company, manufacturing & installing PVC & aluminium windows to the trade, retail & commercial market.
We are looking for a highly motivated, technical & organized individual to join our team, to assist in managing our commercial projects.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE WINDOW INDUSTRY TO APPLY.
Pay is negotiable & dependent on experience & skills.
Managing commercial projects from sale to installation
• Handover from estimating / sales team, so you fully understand the scheme & customer
• Producing fabrication drawings for customer approval; ensuring attention to detail with technical knowledge is essential
• Checking fabrication drawings against our quote to track costings are correct
• Liasing with suppliers to procure materials at the best price & timely in a manor
• Once drawings are produced, create detailed production & installation packs
• Liaising with the factory for production dates
• Liaising with our contracts manager to handover for installation
• Liaising with accounts for project invoicing & credit control
• Liaising with directors to provide detailed updates so support & backup can be provided
Producing fabrication drawings (from the above):
• Using our software “Evolution”, to input window & doors
• You must be able to read/understand architect drawings.
• You must have in depth product & industry knowledge, i.e. glazing, profile, hardware, building regulations etc
Business Development:
• Creating & maintaining good relationships with customers. You will be allocated existing accounts to work closely with
• Seeking new commercial opportunities & creating new relationships
Other:
• Working in a small family run business, there’s often opportunities to help with other aspects of the business, such as residential & trade projects, factory organisation etc…
