Hello wonderful ARTY PARTY followers! 🙌

I have some updates to share with you..

Firstly, I'm sure you are all aware that the cost of everyday items have been rising for a while. Next month, minimum wage is due to rise and this will also have a knock-on effect on our costs. Last week I received an email from our ticket selling platform who have also announced an increase in fees for April.

I always try to keep prices fair and as low as possible. After exploring multiple avenues, I have no option but to increase the ticket price for our next event to £30pp. However, this is now inclusive of ALL booking fees, so no nasty surprises at check out! As always, your ticket covers a full 2 hour painting tutorial, a wonderful welcoming venue, all of your paints, a canvas for you to take home, equipment usage AND a glass of bubbly to start your evening 🥂

In other news, our April event will be the last for a few months as I prepare to welcome another ARTY PARTY baby 🥰 💕

I really hope you can make the next ARTY PARTY and promise it will always be the perfect night out with a difference!

Hi, I'm Rebecca, creator of the ARTY PARTY! 🥂🖌️🎨
Perhaps it's time to introduce myself…

I held my first Arty Party paint and prosecco event earlier this year as a bit of an experimental side hustle. I still work my 'real' job as an elephant keeper at Chester Zoo but made the decision to cut down my hours after having my little girl. I needed something to top up the funds but that I could do in the evening time.

I have always loved art and specialize in realistic pencil drawings, mostly with my elephants as a subject! I barely have time to enjoy painting at home anymore, so why not turn it into a business?

After attending a few similar 'paint and sip' nights myself, I envisioned an event that would introduce people to the fun and relaxation of painting. It was important that the atmosphere was friendly and uplifting with no pressure or competitiveness. I hope those of you who have already attended an event will agree that's what we have managed to achieve!

Brown Bear Coffee have been fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a better host to give me a chance. Not to mention their fantastic service, cakes and bagels 😍
