For those that don't know, this was the first drawing I did, when my Dad was diagnosed with cancer, back in Sept 2018.. I started my art journey, because I wanted to turn something negative, into something positive and beautiful.. everything I draw, is drawn with love and emotions.. and I explain this, so you understand the reason behind the art 🎨

I'm attending an arts and crafts event at Brickhill Community Hall, Avon Drive, on Friday 3rd May.. its open from 730pm to 1030pm
I'll have a few bits of original art available to view/buy.. plus all the handmade items using my artist fabric and also selling customised designer clothing and trainers.. and a couple of bits of my artist apparel available.. I'm also selling some funky earrings from Dready or Knot. Dreads shop.. feel free to pop down

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a wonderful week so far..

Got back from Thailand on the 15th Feb.. so have been busy trying to get my 11.11 canvas finished.. Still got a bit of work to go, but I'm getting there :)

I will be exhibiting some of my art work at Herd Bedford again, alongside other local female artists and photographers, for the whole month of March for international women's day.. they'll also be a weekender on the 8th-10th with local female DJs.. feel free to pop in for some nice food and have a dance with the good vibe tribe

Just an update from me.. obviously still travelling the lovely delights of Thailand.. we just spent 20 days in Koh Lanta (16 of those 20 days at Happiness Hostel) which had a lovely and perfect owner, Atom, and fatty cat (the pampered fat, former street cat).. Atom, also owned a lovely cafe on the island with all the best breakfast and brunch options, so if you're ever there.. I highly recommend these places to stay and eat.. we became good friends with Atom, and she did invite us to her wedding.. sadly we'll both be back in the UK by then.. I gifted her one of my Moo Magik Tote bags to her, because she was so accommodating and lovely to us, as a thank you for being so lovely

Spent the last 8 days in busy Phuket.. now have headed over to Phang nga.. to get the nature I require.. here I am in Bangphat, representing my hometown Bedford, wearing a Herd tshirt which I've cut up and customised, using a bleach effect..
Not only do I do art and handmade items.. I also customise clothing.. these items will be featured on my page in the new year, once I am back from my travels in Thailand

Merry Christmas to all my followers old and new

Dready or Knot. Dreads done some root maintenance on my locs, and jazzed them up with some lovely beads and some glitter wool wraps

I'm currently preparing to go to Thailand on the 19th Dec, for a couple of months travelling.. so everythings a bit manic atm.. but I've had a bit of spare time to finish off this one off tote bag, using a digital art design of mine.. (this is currently the only one made, as was using the remaining fabric I had left of this particular design of mine)

Which is working on my latest canvas 11.11.. and making up tote bags using my artist design fabric, these will be available to buy soon as I've made a few.. as they take a couple of hours to make each one

(will share the collab post, when its done :) ) not only does Lizzie, maintain and install natural dreads.. she also makes temporary synthetic dreads in all of the colours.. these are nice if you like dreads.. but arent commited to having them permanently.. plus she has little handmade trinkets for sale.. check her page out/give her a follow/like

Started my next 30x12 Canvas yesterday.. this one is called "11.11"

For those who are into spirituality will know 11.11 is a powerful angel number.. this is also the date my dad left this earth back in 2019.. he is the reason I got back into my art, back in Sept 2018, when he was diagnosed with cancer.. I turned to art as a coping mechanism, and wanted to turn my anxiety into something positive and beautiful instead.. all of my art is drawn with love.. and although my dad is no longer here.. I'm continuing with my art journey, because when I draw, it reminds me of him..
I do upload story progress of my canvas' on Instagram as facebook stories seem to glitch when upload on here.. my other canvas ^it's 5•45^ is also on my highlights.. feel free to follow me on IG Moo_magik_artist ❤️ my profile is open, and There's lots of art related highlights on there to view.

I have this design ^it's a magik 8 ball^ printed on fabric with a mirror effect, and I make handmade scrunchies and doggy bandanas.

This one will be going to Cornwall

All my handmade scrunchies and bandanas are 1 of a kind, as the variation of the pattern will change with any I make, so no 2 will be the same :) I'm the only person in the world with this fabric, as this is my own design

Finally had a bit of spare time to pick up my pens again and draw some art :)

It's been a hectic few months, so everything's been put on the back burner until recently. Hence why I have been quiet on here.

Been doing a few projects in the background which I haven't posted about as my work involves a colabation on a logo.
As and when they use my art colab, I'll be able to share it.

Still very much working on the foundations of everything.. but moving forward none the less.

About the canvas..

My next canvas will be inspired by the angel number 11.11
Not only is it an angel number, it’s also the date my dad passed away.. he is the reason why I am on this art journey, so will be a another beautiful piece.. this will probably started in autumn, when the summer fun has died down :)
