Many Thanks,
Mr Beamish
Thank you you everyone and all the best for the future...
You all make me very proud.
It's the penultimate day of running my martial arts school before I hand my baby over and step down.
And was not expecting one of my young students Evaan to come in especially (he is carrying a finger injury) to bring me this beautiful card and gifts. Very touched...

And a warm welcome to Gleb who joins the Qi Kwan Do St Neots family.
That boy has power...
Well done to our St Neots Students on a really good grading last week.
They also set the standard with their pledge and tenets...
Everyone from today's Black Belt Grading...
...and thanks to Jane from Qi Kwan Do St Albans, who ALWAYS goes the extra mile for everyone. Leads us all to victory...
Well Done all on your Black Belt grading today, nice to see Family Chitty from Qi Kwan Do St Alban's grading together....
"he's only gone and smashed it" was what we were all thinking after Qi Kwan Do Bedford student, Peter Garbat achieved his First Dan today.
Well Done Peter, you deserved it!
Some of your highlights below...
Well Done to all students who graded tonight.
We will let you know next week if you have been successful...
There is plenty of goodwill to go round today - say hello to Kristian, our newest student, going straight into the Leadership Programme to give himself the best chance in life.
Following in the footsteps of his older brother, we are excited to help him on his journey to black belt and beyond...
Don't be fooled by the sweet, innocent face. He has a kick on him!
After finding his focus young Thomas passed his first grading and is working hard for his next.
The key word here young man is a tenet of Qi Kwan Do ,"perseverance" and the world is your oyster.
Well Done!
Well done Dulran and Hesandu on smashing your grading.
It was also amazing to see how quickly you have adapted to the yellow belt techniques so quickly.
Looking forward to seeing you power ahead this year...
Peter, a very impressive young man and stalwart of Qi Kwan Do for many years, is about to grade for his Black Belt 1st Dan and we could not be more excited.
He is powerful, positive, incredibly polite, loyal to the flag and a pleasure to have around.
Backed up by a loving, supportive family his mother Anna had these words
"My son, who has autism has been attending for some years now. My sons prognosis was so dismal, not even given a chance to a decent education.
This is far more than a sport or an art. This is a way of life for my son, it has been a God send. It has taught him more than I could have dreamed of. It taught him patience, understanding, endurance (never to give up), respect, kindness, and so very much more. It has given my son confidence, inner and outer strength, and the tools to cope better with life.
For this, I am eternally grateful to the Parisi family, to Mr Beamish (who works tirelessly for my boy and all the other students), to all! a big thank you to the wonderful team!"
Please feel free to show your support for Peter this week; we are all behind him ♥️♥️♥️

Well Done Guys.
Well done to Remy from Bedford, who is the latest student to join our Leadership programme.
She is looking to broaden her horizons to focus on 12 skillsets that will help her in later life, completing challenges in her Leadership Manual to earn badges that she can show on her arm of her shiny new blue suit.
This young lady is a future star!
It's Saturday, 10.30..

Happy New Year All.
Well done to students from St Neots, Houghton and Bedford who came together to train, do some team building and play games yesterday at our end of year party class.
We also ate lots of crisps, cake, sausage rolls and made new friends.
See you all in the new year...
Hi All,
Gentle reminder that last Bedford class is tonight at 6.30pm, restarting again on 6th January 2023.
The next St Neots class will take place on Thursday 5th January 2023.
Remember we will have a special class for Bedford and St Neots on 28th December from 2-4pm, where we will have some fun and games. No uniform is required on the day and feel free to bring a friend along.
Address is:
Church Hall,
Harrowden Road,
Bedford,
MK42 0SP.
If anyone fancies bringing some food and drink it would be lovely, but we will be supplying some ourselves.
We are suggesting a voluntary entry fee of £5. we won't be enforcing payment to enter, but any monies will be donated to Chums Charity, who support the mental well-being of young people in our community.
I hope you all can make it and enjoy the festive break if we don't see you beforehand.
Hi All,
Firstly, please note that the Church is holding it Christmas Fete, next weekend Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November, so we are unable to host classes at that time. As always, so that no-one misses out, we will be hosting an extra class on Sunday 27th November from 2-4pm instead. Please come along in usual uniform etc.
Also conscious that many people could not, or weren't ready to grade this week. As such we will grade anyone who thinks they are ready the following week, on Saturday 3rd December. Please let me know if are interested in this option. Normal classes will be going ahead as usual.
As always we will be running classes throughout December, apart from Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but will be hosting our annual End of Year class on 28th December for some fun, games and food. This will be free for all to attend, but we may recommend a £5 donation to our favoured charity - Chums Charity, looking after the mental well being of young people. Donation NOT compulsory, but welcomed.
Please contact me directly if you have any questions relating to the above.
Best,
Mr Beamish
