REFURBISHMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Really didn't think we would be posting about this subject again so soon, however, there have been some changes at Admiral (the owners of The Bear) which means some substantial changes to the pub.
As such there will be a major refurbishment of the building starting in October and lasting for about a month, to bring it in line with their brand Proper Pubs, and to bring The Bear into a new chapter of existence.
Exact dates will be posted as soon as more information is available, however, we would strongly suggest making time to pop in and see us over the next few weeks to bid farewell to the current look and feel of the pub, if you can.
