Williams Antiques & Restoration have been restoring fine antique furniture since 1990. We undertake We have been restoring furniture for over 25 years.
We are a small family run antique furniture restoration company. We can polish your dining table or glue up a wobbly chair. No job is too big or too small. We also have a showroom where we sell items of furniture, paintings, pottery, glass and silver. We are open 6 days a week, so either contact us or just pop in.

A late Regency mahogany cellaret. It holds six bottles of wine or Champagne. It has a lockable lid with key. To the side are two brass ring carrying handles with a brass escutcheon to the front. It stands on ring turned legs which terminate in brass cup castors. £1090.00

A Georgian oak longcase clock. Below the hood with it's moulded arched top is a brass and silvered clock dial which is signed by William Taylor of Dumfries. It has an 8 day movement which strikes the hours on a bell. The door is flanked by turned columns with gilded capitals. The case has an arched top to the door, fitted with a brass escutcheon and a working lock and key. The base is raised on a stepped plinth. The clock is a marriage of parts. The clock dial, movement and case didn't start life together. The alteration was carried out a long time ago, but they work well together. £850

A Victorian walnut three tier whatnot with a serpentine front edge. The top shelf has a fretted gallery to the sides and back. The other two shelves are raised on finely turned supports. It stands on turned feet, which are fitted with brass cup casters. £895

A folding card table which can seat up to four players. It has four drink holders which turn-out from each corner and counter chip holders which can be stored in a tambour compartment set into the top. It is supported on shaped fold out legs which lock into place to create a solid playing surface. £275

A large Victorian brass oil lamp with a faceted column terminating in a shaped circular brass base. This then stands on a black porcelain mount. It has a brass fount and a double burner. It is topped with a glass chimney and a round frosted glass shade. £230

A large leather travelling suitcase. It has a tan colouring and has sturdy handles to the top and side. The base has metal rivets so that the leather doesn't get damages when the suitcase is laid down. It has the initials M.B.C. The interior is lined with a brown satin material and is separated into compartments. £320

A mixed pair of blue and white willow pattern design porcelain. They all have the blue and white design with a gilt edge. There are two side plates and two cups and saucers. The plates and saucers both are stamped 'Royal Doulton Burslem 1886-1902'. The cups have very faint blue marks. £134

A superb quality William IV Mahogany and gilt metamorphic card table in the manner of T & G Seddon. The rectangular top with its carved and moulded edge sits above a cross banded frieze. It is raised on a platform base with scrolled feet and brass casters. The table is decorated with gilt carved patterers, bobble turning and carved fans. Upon opening and revolving the table top the legs are drawn under the table so that four people are able to sit comfortably around all sides. The playing surface is lined with green baize. £3200

A Georgian mahogany fold over tea table. The top opens and is supported on a single gate leg. The tops which are book matched have a moulded edge and are solid mahogany. The frieze has a small drawer fitted to the right hand end which has it's original brass swan-neck handle. It is all supported on squared legs that are fitted with corner brackets. £550

A Georgian serpentine fronted mahogany and boxwood strung toilet mirror with rosewood cross banding around the top. The centre drawer has an ivory escutcheon and working lock and key. The other two drawers have brass ring handles. The oval swing mirror is tightened by brass ring handles. It is the original mirror plate. It stands on bracket feet. £480

A yew and ash wood child's Windsor chair. The shaped back has spindles with a central pierced back splat. The crinoline armrest is supported by ring turned spindles. It is raised on ring turned legs and is united by a crinoline stretcher rail. It has a shaped ash wood seat. £545

A Victorian miniature French oak commode. Beneath the moulded top are three long drawers with a raised panel. The drawers are fitted with turned k**b handles with brass centres and brass escutcheons. It is raised on turned bun feet to the front and block feet to the back. £345

A walnut mantle clock with a faceted top to the case. It stands on a moulded plinth base. The ebonised and gilt door opens with a brass k**b handle. It strikes on a gong on the hour and half hour and needs to be wound up every 2 days. £350.00

An Edwardian mahogany open front bookcase. The moulded top with shaped upstand sits above a pair of frieze drawers. These are mahogany lined fitted with brass oval handles. Below are two adjustable shelves and a base shelf. The shelves are flanked by fluted columns. It is raised on a plinth base. £795

A set of four Chinese Qing Dynasty pictures on pith paper. They show individuals sitting or playing instruments. The same colouring is throughout; green, pink and cream. £340

A vintage brass wall mounted bell with pull. It has a decorative bracket to hold it on the wall. The top section has a man and a winged dog. The bell pull has a dragon at one end and a chain to the other. The bell is decorated with deer, fleur de lis, angels and lions. £60

A boxed set of 6 silver and Guilloche enamel coffee spoons. The yellow enamel is to the back of the spoon and the straight handle ends in a yellow bead. They are hallmarked Birmingham 1937, Turner & Simpson. £155
