Coffee Shop Assistant Required.
Full Time Position
33 hrs per week (approx)
This position does include Saturdays .

The position available is within our busy coffee house here at Frescoes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
•should be able to work within our small team
•have a knowledge of health and food hygiene and ideally hospitality experience
•be passionate about customer service, good time management and above all reliability

DUTIES
•serving and interacting with customers
•preparation and handling of food and drinks
•using the coffee machine
•taking payments
•maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the coffee house and kitchen

Experience preferable but not essential as training will be given .
Hourly rate dependent on age and experience.

Why 'Brew Monday'?

The third Monday in January is sometimes referred to as ‘the most difficult day of the year’ but this is a myth. At Samaritans we know there’s no such thing as ‘Blue Monday’ – we all have our good days and our bad days, and those aren’t for the calendar to decide.

So we say it's time to stop this myth about Monday being 'blue' and instead start a conversation over a brew! ​Reach out and connect with family, friends, colleagues and loved ones.

We can always make time for a cuppa and a catch-up. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Monday morning or Saturday night, or if you’re drinking green tea, black coffee or orange juice. If you’re sharing a cuppa and listening, you’re doing it right. Join us this Monday at Frescoes Coffee House between 10am -2pm for a cuppa and a chat with some of the fabulous volunteers that will be on hand to lend an ear .
