Gunmetal Euro Filigree pen in Sapele wood. Lower pen body has a three veneer insert to just break the plain look of the wood. The pen is finished with several coats of melamine lacquer.

Another pen requested and engraved for family as a thank you before twin granddaughters move on to a new stage in their life's journey. Pen is a Salano in gunmetal finish dressed in Ash wood.

Moving on to big school. Couple of notus click pens from Beaufort ink for my twin granddaughters with their initials on them.

Another pen dressed in beautiful vintage pen rod from the turners workshop.
This is an Aquilo gunmetal pen with a brown and gold flecks. Very rich looking body. Pity I can't take good photos to do this material justice.

Chrome Solano pen also dressed with vintage pen rod from turners workshop. This one is in silver and black.

Gunmetal Solano twist pen.pen is dressed in beautiful bermond blue vintage cellulose acetate pen rod. The pen rod dates as far back as 1930s and comes from la Mon regime in France. Pen rod was supplied a while back by Turners Workshop.

This is first time making this type of pen from beaufort ink it's the notus click pen. Chrome pen is dressed with beautiful vintage pen rod from 1930s le mans district in France.

Chrome Aquilo pen dressed in curly Koa wood from Hawaii. Sent a lovely piece by my cousin, enough for couple of pens.

Another couple of light pulls only one in wood and one in turquoise, white and black acrylic.
Wooden one in traditional shape and acrylic in tear drop shape.

Not doing alot on lathe at moment but here is one I had to finish.
Gold plated snake skin pen dressed in a beautiful vintage pen rod circa 1930s/1940s. Its a lovely brown with like a gold leaf throughout it. My photography skills really don't do it justice.

Not a pen but a bell shaped light pull. Had a block of acrylic and ends for a light pull so why not do something different. Good practice as haven't been on lathe for a while. Just needs a light polish.

Antique copper Glacia pen. Sapele wood with body containing three layer zig zag basic segments. Forms to random circles when turned one top and one bottom on opposite sides. The veneer is Paduak wood sandwiched by box wood. The pen is finished with several coats of melamine lacquer.

Chrome wave click pen dressed with antique cellulose acetate pen rod. Circa 1930/40 from Le Man's France. Beautiful material to work with.

Chrome slimline pen with a celtic theme centre ring. Wood is Irish bog Oak with a red and white perspex celtic knot hand cut and glued in in four segmenting system. Pen was for a Canadian couple hence the red and white to represent the colours of Canada.

Chrome bolt action pen dressed in vintage 1930's pen rod acetate from turners workshop. Quite a favourite pen with a lot of people. Pen uses parker style refill.

Chrome Snake skin style pen. Pen is dressed in blue and/steel blue vintage 1930/40s vintage acetate from Vincent in the turners workshop. Have this material a while now and is very hard to get your hands on. Quite a popular pen with people at present. (Excuse the photography something I have to confess I'm not good at.).

New pen style from beaufort ink the Aquilio. Pen dressed with silver and grey pen rod dating back to approximately 1930s.

Something a little bit brighter and jazzy. Chrome Euro Filigree with purple crushed ice upper and lower body.

Sierra chrome pen with a really beautiful dark blue body. Pattern within the dark blue body has to be seen, its really stunning.

Etesia upgraded gold pen dressed with Sapele wood. The body incorporates a sutle celtic knot. Nicely balanced pen for writing with and uses a parker style refill. Pen is finished with multiple coats of melamine lacquer.

Solano gunmetal metal pen dressed in walnut. Walnut has a hand cut three layer veneer celtic knot. Pen is finished with five layers of Melamine lacquer. Pen uses a Parker style refill.

Solano gunmetal pen kit from Beaufort ink. Pen body is made from Omas dark grey and silver acrylic. Body is hand turned on lathe and polished using just micro mesh pads and water. Pen uses parker style refill.
Finished pen reminds me of colours of Mercedes Silver Arrows F1 cars of recent years.

Slimline pen with green Kirinite Starburst blank. Pen finished in copper metalwork. Great wee writer for everyday use.

Would describe this pen as a special one. The pen is a gunmetal headwind from beaufort ink and the body is a steel blue colour vintage pen rod from circa 1930/40s from la Mon in France. The pen rod was from stock pieces I have gathered up over the years and purchased from Vince in the turners workshop.

One my grand daughter asked me to make specially for her teacher. Solano gold plated pen with old English oak wood and laser engraved. Finished in melamine lacquer.

Euro Filigree pen. Wood is Iroko with a acrylic block lined with white 1mm perspex inset into middle of wood. Hand turned and finished with several coats of melamine lacquer. Turned into a nice pen too my surprise.

Not one of my favourites now it's finish. Solano pen with a red sparkle glitter Kirinite body. To me it's more of a cross between red and orange.
Suppose everyone likes different things.

Chrome snake skin pen with hand turned Giraffe thorn wood. Quite a rare wood now outside of Aficia. Wood is quite a hard wood and polishes to a reddish brown colour.
