I have went back to my 1st Cookbook for this one " Food To Wolf Down" and put a few little changes into it to Give you a " Fake Away that will Challenge Any Chinese Takeout ! Ingredients... 750g Of Stir fry beef 1 Red Chilli 1 Green Chilli 1 Cup of Tomato Sauce 2-3 tsp of chilli flakes 2 tsp of Soy Sauce 2 tsp of 5 Spice 3-4 Tsp of Letter box larder Wild Garlic Seasoning 2 Cups of Cornflour 3-4 Tbsp of Hot Honey ( normal honey will do also ) 3-4 tbsp Rice wine vinegar 2 tbsp of sugar 2 Tbsp crushed Szechuan peppers ( optional) i love the peppery taste Method.... Step 1 ...Add your beef into a bowl, add your 5 spice, Wild garlic, Chilli Flakes and Corn flour .. Coat really well .. Step 2 In batches drop your coated beef into your fryer and Cook for 2-3 mins fry off in small batches so the beef is not only staying crispy, but the more you add, it will reduce the Temp of your oil... Step 3.. Remove beef from the fryer and Drain, in a wok or deep pan add in a little glug of oil , when it comes to heat add your veg and cook for 5 mins medium heat then back in again with your Beef you drained .. Step 4 .. The Sauce !! in a sauce pan add your tomato sauce, Sweet chilli sauce, Rice wine vinegar, Honey, Touch of Sugar and Soy Sauce and cook as it starts to bubble ( taste as you go) Step 5... Take your Sauce and pour all over your Beef & Veg ! Coating it well i topped mine with Microgreens serve with Rice or noodles and Enjoy !
