'Tall Tales In Short Stories' is a short story collection of five stories for your enjoyment.

The thing about Death
We are all strangers until we spend time in one another's company. With time spent, feelings of comfort and familiarity usually grow, and those who were strangers are strangers no more. Michael found this to be the case, but the person he became comfortable with was not your stereotypical stranger or would-be friend.

Everyone Loves A Serial Killer
A killer released after incarceration for his latest crime, however, is he rehabilitated? Perhaps he can never be rehabilitated because killing is his nature. Someone who repeatedly kills for pleasure should be shunned by society, shouldn't they? Yet many people turn a blind eye to this personality trait in their own homes.

The Troubles
Hatred, intolerance, bigotry and ignorance. At best, they are just words. At worst, they cause many deaths. During the 1970s living in Belfast was a turbulent time. A period of time that earned it the title of The Troubles. Two opposing communities at war, and two adversaries hunting each other because of thier differences.

Voice Of A Damaged Mind
A teenager arrested for terrorising shoppers with a gun in a shopping mall filters through the justice system until he reaches a secure asylum. His refusal to communicate makes it impossible for anyone to determine his mental health, but scarring and malnourishment suggest he might be a victim of horrific abuse. However, all is not as it seems!

The Aqua Resource Incident
Earth's history has blossomed into an age of intergalactic space travel due to a scientific experiment gone wrong. Diplomatic, scientific and trade links flourish between Earth and the Trigorian solar system, but with new prosperity comes corruption. The authorities of both civilisations decided a joint law enforcement task force was needed to combat growing criminality. After a close brush with Death, two law enforcement officers realise they have feelings for one another. Will they get the chance for love to blossom, or will the hazards of law enforcement make it impossible?

Birth Of The Goud Resistance.
Like a creeping narcosis, Spore spreads across the cosmos, repurposing and recycling everything in its path. Everything that isn't Spore shall become Spore! Spore has harvested Planet Earth several times in its brief history, and the only thing that prevented Earth's obliteration was the Goud.
A Goud like Samael born within the Rift is a rarity amongst the Goud. They are destined to become farmers of sentient life throughout the cosmos and are responsible for its continued proliferation. Spore's decimation of life now impacts other planes of existence, so the Omnicollective issues a command to deliver a fatal blow to Spore's cosmic expansion.
Earth's solar system is the battleground, and Samael's task is to deliver the fatal blow. The design and creation of homo-sapiens is the perfect lure for Spore.
Experience of fighting Spore within alternative realities has taught Samael he cannot win by fighting alone or using conventional methods.
'Birth Of The Goud Resistance' is the story of how the fight for survival begins on planet Earth. It tells the tale of how Samael manipulates six seemingly ordinary people into agreeing to much more than merely fighting Spore. Will those individuals be willing to do what's asked of them? What could Samael do and offer to make them agree to do his bidding?
