DPF CLOGGED DIESAL CARS❗

Over the last few months we have seen an increase in customers coming to us with DPF issues.

The DPF filters job is to capture and store soot produced by the exhaust, The soot is then burnt off in a process called regeneration at high temperatures and left as ash remains.

Due to lockdown many of us weren't driving our diesal cars for long periods of time or long motorway journeys, so they weren't able to reach the temperatures to allow the DPF to complete its regeneration process, leaving with blockages.

Signs of a clogged DPF filter:

- a loss of power in your engine (limp mode)
- the DPF filter light will appear on the dash.
-a pungent smell of diesal
-automatic stop-start system not working
-your car seems to be realising an excessive amount of smoke
-you've noticed an increase in fuel consumption.

If you own a Diesel and only do short drives to the shops or for the school run, you need❗Dipetane to keep your DPF clean and regenerating.
Dipetane fuel treatment which is a 100% hydrocarbon liquid fuel as opposed to an additive.
The mix is 1:200, but add a little extra the first time and then follow the measurements on the side of the bottle, and that’s it, Dipetane will cause a complete burn in the combustion chamber resulting in the DPF getting to regeneration temperature once the vehicle is taken for a half hour‐long motorway drive to produce a complete DPF regeneration cycle.
Doing this once a month can ensure that your DPF doesn’t prematurely fail causing an expensive repair bill.

Crankshaft seized due to lack of oil faulty oil seal in sump waiting on new crank and shell bearings it will live again I'll post more about it as it goes back together then back into the car

Fitting a after market gearbox oil cooler bit bigger than the original one but a lot cheaper works perfectly

As a new and fresh business only starting out this year like everyone we never expected the set back we were forced to face. Because we are new we didnt qualify for any help from the government. We remained closed for the safety of our family because at the end of the day nothing is more important than that. But today we are opening again and excited to be back. Our coronavirus procedures remain the same as the before post, were we are asking that you contact us before arriving at the garage when possible to insure we are there as we are only working from the unit when there is work booked in, we ask as well that you dont wait inside the unit for work to be completed, we will try to accommodate dropping you home while we work on your car and delivering the car back to you but this wont always be possible so if you can please arrange for somone else to collect you.
We know the last few months have affected everyone financially and as before we will continue to offer reasonably priced work and we will try and work with you and your budget to carry out safe and effective repairs.
Finally thank you to all my customers old and new for supporting us on our new venture and keep an eye on the page for upcoming offers and deals.

We are currently opened with a closed shutter policy.
What this means is that customers can NO longer wait in the unit on any repairs.

As a brand new business, this couldnt of happened at a worse time, myself with many other businesses are unsure as to what will happen in the coming days/weeks to us. These last two weeks have proven how hard a time it is for the self employed right now. Weve already seen our work decrease rapidly.
But We know people still need their cars working and we will continue to offer the same quality and repairs for as long as we can. Thank you for support.
