Some ways positive interactions are beneficial:
🌟 Happiness is contagious, a study conducted by Harvard Medical School and the University of California, San Diego found, β€œHappiness is a collective phenomenon that spreads through social networks like an emotional contagion.”

🌟 You will laugh and smile more. Smiling and laughing can reduce stress and elevate your mood.

🌟 Creates more opportunities. A study of 7,000 adults, found that individuals with a positive well-being were 33% more likely to be physically active, with 10 or more hours of physical activity per week. If you spend time with these type of people you will be encouraged to take part in activities they are doing.

During each session, clients will set a small step towards a bigger picture they'd like to achieve.

A little bit of forward momentum is always better than no progress at all.

In the perfect world everyone would achieve their goals in a short period of time, whether that goal is to lose weight, get on a plane or to be less anxious.

In reality though, if we set big goals and expect them to happen overnight, then we only set ourselves up to fail.

The key is to set small achievable goals along the way towards that bigger picture.

The journey towards the big picture won't always be a straight path, if one of the smaller steps isn't the right step for you then reset and keep going.

Small steps are the key to success.

Every problem has a solution.

Often when an issue arises, you think how bad or incovenient it is. Then you go over it in your head many times creating a pattern of negative thinking. Each time you focus on the problem it seems to get bigger and you feel less capable of resolving it.

Focusing on a solution however, helps break down the problem and shows you where improvements can be made.

When you use your energy to find a solution rather than dwelling on the problem, you are choosing to move forward instead of getting stuck. You are opening up to new opportunities, challenges, and ideas.

If you focus on problems, you'll only find more problems.

When the primitive area of our brain is in control we tend to be more negative.

The primitive area of the brain has 4 distinct characteristics;
* it's a negative brain, so it will always look for the worst case scenario.
* it's obsessional, so it will fixate on the problem over and over again.
* it's vigilant, so it's always on the look out for danger, always on alert for more problems.
* it's not intellectual, so it can't think for itself. If you focused on the problems yesterday and got through the day, then it will focus on the problems again today to survive.

These charachteristics feed off each other and this cycle of negative thinking forms into a pattern.

Using solution focused hypnotherapy we can break this pattern, switch this around and help you to focus on solutions and make you more postive overall.

We do this using different techniques during sessions, including positive recollection, goal setting and trance.

This helps the intellectual brain to gain control, this part of the brain, comes up with answers based on a proper assessment of the situation, it generally gets things right in life and is generally very positive

When we have intellectual control we tend to look for solutions to anything that may arise.
