A playful drama, BAD VIBES follows Jo and Sean as they address the elephant in the room in their marriage, in a s*x shop in Belfast city centre.

“Life Ruiner” - written/directed by Gabrielle Deeny
A petty woman tries to exact her revenge on arch-nemesis, who is now a social media influencer.

We are thrilled to report that Kettle has been nominated for Best Celtic Short Film at Carmarthen Bay Film Festival CBFF! Well done to all of the cast and crew involved! 🎉🎉🍾
Winners will be announced 20th May so fingers crossed everyone!

Which Star Wars movie are you watching today?

What an incredible ceremony last night at the 93rd Academy Awards.

For her stellar work on Nomadland, Chloé Zhao became the first Asian woman and only the second woman in Oscars history to win Best Director!

Also making history last night were Yuh-Jung Youn, the first South-Korean actress to win an Oscar, for her role in “Minari” and the multi-talented Emerald Fennell, who became the first British woman to win Best Original Screenplay for her directorial debut, “Promising Young Woman”.

An inspiring night for all. Who would have thought a train station would be the perfect location for Hollywood’s biggest night?!

Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees: we hope the headaches aren’t too bad today!

10 years ago today, the very first episode of Game of Thrones was aired on HBO. Since then, it has won an incredible total of 269 awards, broke multiple world records including the most Emmy Awards for a drama series, and was viewed and loved by millions having drawn 17.4 million viewers for its premier of Season 8. It’s safe to say it made television history!

We are incredibly honoured to have been a part of the GOT journey. The construction team at Poli built the sets for all 73 episodes here in Northern Ireland. The very first set ever built was Catleyn’s Chamber, Season 1. Fast forward 7 more seasons with the building of Kingslanding, one of the last sets to be built for Season 8 and the biggest, having over 80 personnel working on it full time.

Fun fact: The Dome on the Poli Logo represents the Dome built for Kingslanding!

A lot of hard work, a lot of great memories made, and we will forever be grateful to be a part of the team.

Talking of renowned artists, it’s also Leonardo Da Vinci’s birthday today. How do you think he would have celebrated his 569th? Eating microwave sushi, naked, in the back of a Cadillac? 💫

Happy International Day of Human Space Flight! A day for celebrating the beginning of the space era for humanity, and what better way to celebrate than to watch this classic?

The Best Director winner Chloé Zhao is only the second woman - following Kathryn Bigelow in 2010 - to win Best Director in 53 years!

Bukky Bakray will definitely be one to watch out for after winning this year’s EE Rising Star Award following her first ever acting role in Rocks!

The project is a short film that will be shot on location in Belfast.
