Sea Holly
Sea Holly is a stunning new art gallery in the heart of Belfast. It is full of history, light and tranquility; and promises to support local talent.
Guess who’s back?!
And the sun is shining! The Dark Horse and The Toast Office have teamed up & their epic toasted sandwiches (think less sandwich & more a full buffet between slices of bread) are flying out! Take away continues but now you can also enjoy a grilled cheese and a pint in our Magical courtyard!
Outside dining only - in line with Covid 19 guidance.
Open until 4 today - see you soon 😊
Happy St Patrick’s day from Commercial Court ☘️☘️ Hope you’re keeping safe wherever you are - & don’t forget there are brighter days ahead ☘️☘️
Wishing a peaceful & merry Christmas to all our friends & supporters. This was Christmas last year in Sea Holly, and hopefully will be again in 2021. Mins yourselves & your loved ones & here’s to brighter days ahead 🌈
This little light of mine.... we’re gonna let it shine.
We have made the difficult decision not to reopen The Dark Horse (restaurant)when restrictions lift on Friday 11th. Nothing is more important to us than the safety & wellbeing of our staff & customers, so given the concerning infection rates & the tragic daily loss of life due to Covid 19 we cannot find it in our hearts and conscience to open our doors.
Don’t forget, the best things in life are worth waiting for. Like that perfect pint & hearty bowl of stew that we so look forward to serving you. We will keep our decision under constant review, and rest assured that when the time is right we will get it right.
For now, mind yourselves and your loved ones - maybe even reach out to someone who might just need some kindness.
We’ve said it before & we say it again; we’ll meet again. We know where, just not when.
Keeping a little light on 🕯
Keeping a little light on in The Dark Horse for all the small businesses that are the heart of Communities up & down the country. We miss you, but trust we’ll meet again🕯

CANCELLED An Audience With Jack Pakenham, RUA - 21st March 2020 2.30pm - Duke of York Jack Pakenham, RUA, is one of Ireland’s most interesting artists. This exhibition ‘A Broken Sky – Revisited’ is effectively a visual social history of the last fo...

St Patrick’s Day on Hold
St Patrick’s Day is one of the busiest days of the year and we feel that Social Distancing would be impossible to safely manage. We have decided to close on Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th of March. St Patrick’s Day is on hold until further notice – we will celebrate with you again when we feel it is safe to do so.
In almost 35 years of business we have never before faced such an uncertain time, we are putting the safety of our employees and customers above everything else.
We are following Government & PHA guidance & will keep you posted on future developments.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Good Health to Everyone
I am beyond angry about all the uncertainty around Corona Virus. Only Northern Ireland's politicians could make this into a political tug of war. What will really destroy small businesses is the government's inability to step up to the mark and close all non-essential public venues, & I include businesses like ours in this. It is neither fair nor effective for individual businesses to have to make the call to open or not.
Im weary of Comments like 'It's scaremongering' 'take that Coronavirus' ' it won't happen to me'. 'It won't happen here'. Well it is happening here. Of course the economic impact on individuals will be horrific. But don't lose sight of the fact that it MIGHT JUST BE WHAT SAVES you from becoming seriously ill, or someone you love becoming seriously ill - or dying an unpleasant death. That's where the real horror lies. The powers that be are calling the shots but they won't be the worst affected. How will the history books judge us?
With regret we have decided to close the gallery during this period of uncertainty. We will review our position on Wednesday. Apologies for any inconvenience caused
