Regardless of what industry we work in, there’s common situations that we all run into, and some of these situations can be difficult to find the right words for to get your point across, while still being polite.
So far Bridal season 2024 has been very challenging for me concerning the amount of bridesmaids dresses I’ve had to work on that have been purchased from the internet. I completely get why the brides are buying them, I really do.
However, going forward into bridal season 2025, I will still be committed to my brides that have already booked their maids with me regardless of where you have purchased their dresses. I don’t mind working on Every Pretty dresses, or JJs House tbh. I’m so sorry if I cause offence or inconvenience. This year I’ve lost so much money and hair!!! due to the time I’ve spent trying to get into the dress to begin alterations. Or the time I’ve spent trying to press a dress or 4, to find they are so badly wrinkled that the creases don’t come out. There are loads more reasons… but at the end of the day I’m not prepared to do this anymore. Please think when buying your girls their dresses. A bargain isn’t always a bargain. X
