Very sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend and member Ken Hamilton this evening - an absolute stalwart of the musical theatre scene.
Ken was the most welcoming, funny and caring man, and no matter what the situation, was always game for a “wee turn” in any show. Often times you’d watch a show and wonder just what he’ll pop up as in this or that one.
An endearing personality both on and off stage who touched many lives, we know he will be remembered by all who met him. Thoughts and prayers with Maureen and the family.
How exciting to have had a visit from (Valjean) and (Javert) from the Arena Spectacular. The two visited rehearsals for “Les Misérables” and gave our Valjeans and Javerts some advice on the confrontation.
Pictured here:
(Javert), (Javert), (Valjean), (Choreographer), (Director) with Bradley and Killian at the rehearsal studios.
We’re delighted and exceptionally proud that both the Arena Tour and the Let the people sing project kick off the 40th anniversary celebrations here, with thanks to - what a year for theatre in Belfast!
