We had a great night at the awards last night and were very proud to sponsor the Sustainability Award. We did NOT win the Furniture Showroom category and were pipped to the post by - congratulations to them!

Hi friends! Maven has been shortlisted in the best Furniture Showroom category at the Ireland's Homes Interiors and Living Magazine Awards taking place this Friday evening in Dublin. We’re also sponsoring the Sustainability category.

The whole team will be heading down in a fun bus to celebrate and so we’ll be closing at 3pm on Friday and reopening at 11am on Saturday. Thank you so much for your understanding!!

The client entrusted us with helping her to breathe new life into her beautiful Victorian home. As well as a refresh of furniture and lighting we put together a colour scheme to bring the home right up to date, whilst respecting its history. The beautiful stained glass was the starting point for this colour palette and we’re so happy with how it all turned out.

Looking back at a really special Maven Session from the summer. We welcomed Sumi-e student Vivien Lundy to share her passion and interest for this traditional, meditative Japanese art form in a small one-off class at Maven. (We also had lots of craic!)

At Home: La Roche House

I’ve been an admirer of for some years now. It’s in my neighbourhood and as I’ve walked past it, I’ve often wondered what it’s like inside, whilst being slightly envious that that I’m not the lucky duck who lives there! Owners Emma and Ross Cunningham are, however, extremely generous with sharing their home with the public. It is available to hire for any number of creative purposes: film and photography shoots, events and small gatherings. And that’s how I found myself, one Friday evening at an art exhibition, organised by . Well, the place is as dreamy as I had expected and I couldn’t wait to get a natter with Emma, to ask her all about her incredible home.
