Tomorrow is and with this year’s theme being, “It’s Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace,” we at PIPS Su***de Prevention Charity want to help start these crucial conversations.

To support this, we’re sharing a leaflet designed to guide conversations around asking the question and included are some practical tips to help create a more supportive workplace.

We have been talking about hedgehogs this week in nursery. This is a lovely activity to try at home 🦔

Such a great use for all the fallen leaves. An opportunity to talk about nocturnal animals and hedgehogs in general. Be creative!

First month done and dusted and wow what fun we had. We made lots of new friends, we tried new things , we were really brave and left our safe place but found a brand new safe place with new exciting adventures.....October brings Autumn fun and spooky events and everything else thrown in...and we CAN'T wait....The future begins here 🙂

My children loved doing this activity. They talked about the shapes and colours of the leaves and some even created patterns using them. Everyone was proud to take them home, process over result♥️🍃🍂

Here are 4 simple tips to get started:

📖Read Together: Spend time reading books daily and encourage them to describe pictures and answer questions about the story.

🗣️Talk About Daily Activities: Narrate your day and describe what you're doing to expand their vocabulary and understanding.
🎶Sing Songs and Rhymes: Sing nursery rhymes to help with rhythm, memory, and articulation.

By incorporating these activities into your daily routine, you can help your child continue learning and developing their speech and language skills all summer long.
