12th July Family Fun Day - In the Playground - INCLUDES: Face Painting / Balloon Modelling / Popcorn / Candy Floss BBQ: 5pm- 7pm

In 2003/4 two highly respected activist members of our community Danny and Deborah Devenny arranged for the global singing sensation Christy Moore to come to the Short Strand Community Centre and perform a solidarity concert for the local people. It was brilliant. At 8pm in the park on July 12th 2024 we will screen the concert film on the big screen in the playground - dress warm, bring a cup of tea and a folding chair and enjoy.

When you’ve watched a family and child go through what Patrick / Ursula, wee Tiernan and his sister and brothers went through - nights like this are even more special. We Love ♥️ you guys. and 🙌 💕 to the people of the Short Strand who donated and supported.
