It’s never too early to start sharing books – you are giving your child a great start for learning words and talking.

Parent and child sessions every Thursday with Belfast City Council - see poster for details on email registration or come and register on 5th September at 2pm at the bowling pavilion.

Getting Ready for School Begins at Birth

YOU MATTER - you are my first and most important teacher. I need you to respond to me with kind words and gentle touch so that I can make sense of my world and learn so much.

Taughmonagh families had a fun day out at Carnfunnock country park. The slides and train were everyone's favourites 🛝🚂🌞🍦🧒👧

Child Development/Programme Assistant The successful candidate will assist the Sure Start Team to provide a group based developmental programme for children aged 2-3 years in order to enhance their social development, build on their communication and language skills and encourage imaginative play.

Lots of sunny fun at Carnfunnock Park and outside sensory play at Blythefield. These activities are part of our summer programme running in Sandy Row 👧🧑🛝🧸🎈🏖🤸🏃‍♀️‍➡️🚂

Play & Discover children recently enjoyed a trip to High Rise where they enjoyed lots of running, climbing, jumping and sliding 👧🧑🛝🧸🎈

Baby can learn to recognise the voices of other people who talk to her a lot – not just Mum! Encourage your partner, other children, grandparents or anyone special in your life to talk and sing to baby.

The Womb is my first classroom- I’m learning already!
Your baby is learning many skills in the womb; the sound of familiar voices, the rhythm of speech and music. The more they hear, the more they can learn!

Our office will be closed from today until Thursday 18th July.

When Wee Bugs & Beasties visit Taughmonagh. The children loved meeting all the different animals 🐍🐰🐀

The Village Children's Centre will be running sensory sessions in August.
There will be separate sessions for babies, 1-2 Yr olds and 3-4 Yr olds 👶🧒👧
