Sure Start is a project aimed at families with pre-school children or expectant parents
If you have a child under 4, or if you are pregnant and you live in South Belfast area you can register with Sure Start and use our Services. You don't have to be on any benefits and it doesn't matter if you are working or not.

It’s never too early to start sharing books – you are giving your child a great start for learning words and talking.
Parent and child sessions every Thursday with Belfast City Council - see poster for details on email registration or come and register on 5th September at 2pm at the bowling pavilion.

Child Development/Programme Assistant The successful candidate will assist the Sure Start Team to provide a group based developmental programme for children aged 2-3 years in order to enhance their social development, build on their communication and language skills and encourage imaginative play.

Baby can learn to recognise the voices of other people who talk to her a lot – not just Mum! Encourage your partner, other children, grandparents or anyone special in your life to talk and sing to baby.

Your baby is learning many skills in the womb; the sound of familiar voices, the rhythm of speech and music. The more they hear, the more they can learn!
