It’s taken me a while to publish this post as it’s not often I’m lost for words. I’m so angry but also heartbroken for those waiting on the Transplant List. When waiting on the list for a call to change your life, hope , hope is what keeps you going. I was one of lucky ones who’s call came in time but I can not fathom being on the list at the minute with all that’s happening on Daithi’s law. I am in awe at the strength of Daithi, his parents and family who continue to fight for all those waiting. I am in total admiration of their courage. But I also cannot fathom how those waiting on a transplant are being used for political means. Yet again the most vulnerable in society bare the brunt of political decision making. I’m sharing above the story of my time on the list. I know Daithi’s law will not immediately clear the transplant list, but it is certainly believed that it will help more organs become available for transplant before it’s too late. It gives hope. So am asking don’t let this fall of the political agenda, all of us keep lobbying our MLAS and MPs. Also keep talking about organ donation with your family and let them know your wishes. I could say so much more (and I’m not known for my restraint)but then I don’t want to get into the politicising of this issue either. Solidarity Daithi and all those on the list hoping that every time the phone rings, just maybe it’s their time.

The C word forced us to change how we operate in the shops. So when we opened Cregagh in April for the new world order we decided to do a mini refresh of the shops. Anyone who has been in will not have failed to miss our new artwork on the walls. Working with our design team @stylografik who we have worked with since day one- we came up with the “Post No Bills’ campaign. As you all know music is so important to us (counting down to the return of our decks)- so the campaign is a celebration of music, gigs and the lost art of bill posting. You’ll also notice a few posters tying each shop into the community around it. If you’re waiting for your coffee take a minute to look around. We couldn’t be happier with what @stylografik have designed and fitted for us. They nailed it!
