We've done it again!

We had our food hygiene inspection yesterday and, as expected, have achieved 5 stars again! Thank you to all our staff who work extra hard on ensuring our kitchen is always spot on and all our training is up to date 🧑🏻‍🍳

Following on from our recent maintenance issues we are having to close tomorrow - Wednesday 21st February - to carry out essential works

Hopefully this will solve the issue but we will keep you updated! Thank you for your patience during this time 💙

*WORK UPDATE*

Unfortunately it looks like this is going to be a bigger job than first thought so we are not sure when we will be able to open. I will post on here as soon as we know. Hopefully we can open at some point today however if not we will be open tomorrow.

*OPENING LATER TODAY*

We are having a water leak repaired this morning and we will be open from hopefully around 10am again. Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

*DELAYED START TODAY*

We are going to be open from 10am today (05/02/24) as Severn Trent have turned the water off to fix a leak, and recommended we don't open until they are finished.

Unfortunately the river has risen at a rate the environment agency hadn't predicted and they won't be able to get the barriers up in time (the machine has also broke which doesn't help)

So we are going to have to close the Cafe today and keep you guys updated.

We have a phone order for collection at 12.45 but no number to call back. Unfortunately we won't be able to complete this order. Sincere apologies.

Spring is upon us and with the clocks changing comes our spring/summer opening times again! 🌻🌞

We will be open an hour later everyday for you all! The new times will be as follows:

Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

The reinforcements are being taken down today which starts the process of the barriers coming down! We are so grateful for the EA and all their hard work to keep us safe which allows us to stay open!

*GOODBYE IZZY*

Over the weekend our cook, Izzy, did her final shift after 6 years here at Riverside. She started the job at just 16 years old and has grown into an amazing young woman who is now ready to take on a challenge in a new career path.

Izzy you have been a wonder to work with and we are so grateful for your hard work, determination and years of laughter that you have give us on the way. The team is not going to be the same without you.

Good luck in your new chapter. We know you are going to smash it!

What an amazing first few days we've had with our outside seating back. It's been so good to see you all again!
