‼️Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Required‼️

Prestige Stairlifts are one of the South East's leading stairlift suppliers. Our plans to expand necessitates an Apprentice Stairlift Engineer.

This candidate would be looking to build a rewarding and a successful career in the stairlift field.

We will offer full in-house training and LITS NVQ2 for the right candidate.

Position: Apprentice Stairlift Engineer
Hours: Monday-Friday
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Area: South East
Wage: £18,000 per annum (to be reviewed after 12-month training programme)

We will tailor our Stairlift Apprentice training programme to suit the right applicant, so that they will not only feel rewarded financially - but feel a sense of reward as they make a difference to the independence of our customers.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for attending customer call-outs for breakdowns and repairs together with scheduled visits for the installation, service, and maintenance of all types of stairlifts.

You will also be responsible for the repair/maintenance of various stairlift products, help with deliveries and provide the highest standard of service to our customers.

Ideal candidates will have some experience in the engineering or electrical area; however, consideration will be given to a trainee with good technical/mechanical aptitude.

• You will be proactive and have good communication and customer service skills
• Technical competence (or be willing to learn)
• Some computer knowledge would be an advantage
• Experience of working as part of a team
• A flexible and mature attitude to work

The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm 5 days per week and a rota basis along with out of hours call-outs.

A full valid driving licence is essential for this role.

A DBS check (formerly CRB) will be required for which Prestige Stairlifts will meet the cost.

‼️Experienced Stairlift Engineer Required‼️

We are looking for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join our team based in East Sussex.

Prestige Stairlifts is the South East’s leading stairlift company specialising solely in stairlifts.

We know that our customers enjoy their home and that staying mobile means the world to them. As a stairlift engineer for Prestige Stairlifts, you will play a vital role in providing their mobility.

As a Which? Trusted Trader, we have a highly regarded reputation amongst our customers, which provides our Stairlift Engineers with a great sense of pride in their work.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in lift engineering (or equivalent)
• Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge essential.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS

Responsibilities:

• Servicing, repairs and call-out visits
• Sales surveys to potential customers
• Installation of new and reconditioned stairlifts
• Ensuring that a high standard of service and customer care is maintained at all times.
• Complete job sheets.

Salary:

• £35,000 per annum for the right candidate.
• Plus overtime and standby.

All our Stairlift Engineers are equipped with a company van.

You will be required to participate in our on-call rotation and in return you will receive a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive salary.
