With the rug racks full of drying rugs and a wee gap in bookings… we’re heading off for a few days R&R. We’ll be back on Monday and will respond to any messages then.

You can continue to drop off at our collection points (The Farm Supply People and Scotts Pet Supplies) and we’ll collect them next week 👍🏻

Little bog pony looking soooo smart, thanks to Covington rug wash tidying skills, but with no place to go as unfortunately ISEC was frozen a solid -6 on Sunday so all our practicing for the dressage competition will need to be kept for another day.

Christmas is just around the corner so it’s time for us to take a wee break! The Rug Wash & Repair Shop will be closed from Sunday 24th Dec and we’ll reopen on Thursday 4th Jan. Hopefully those naughty elves (or ponies) will leave your rugs intact for a couple of weeks!! 😉🙃

It’s always nice to recieve feedback however this message is particularly lovely 🥰 I went to clip a pony last week - her background bless her was awful, she had been apart of a big rescue case! I even managed to trim her beard with the trimmers 😁I was made up to get such a message 🥰

❤️ Little chestnut was all about the lines so we incorporated a hard stop to his half face to make the clip flow

❤️ The bay had a sweeping softer line and more coat removed so we opted for an epic fade to her half head

Hi all. The clipping season is well underway! To avoid disappointment If you are wanting to be booked in please don’t leave it until the last minute!! - as of now the next available appointment I have is Tuesday 14th November.
Please note that I will not clip in the evenings under electric lighting, this makes it difficult to see! I pride myself in a quality, professional service with Fantastic clips 😜

We also do yard/holiday cover as well as trimming/tail and mane pulls etc 😉

Using one of our Collection Points? Here’s what you need to know 🙂

* Pop your rugs in bags, bin bags or old feed sacks are ideal
* Leave the bags open as you’ll need to put a rug slip in with each rug; you can get these at the Collection Points or you can print them from our website
* Take them to either Scotts Pet Supplies or The Farm Supply People
* Our turnaround is usually 3 weeks but we’ll be in touch with your invoice as soon as your rugs are ready
* We’ll also confirm when your rugs are back at the Collection Point, ready for you to collect

LIVERY YARD MANAGER/TRAINER/COACH

A Fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable, self-motivated, passionate yard manager/coach with excellent riding skills. We have amazing facilities with an 80x40 outdoor arena (all weather surface) and 55x30 indoor school with seating area, coffee machine and snacks. All facilities are equipped for running competitions and events. We have 40 stables and offer livery to 25 horses, 3 solariums/wash bays, horse walker, feed room, tack room, own office, CCTV all round, new winter pens and lunge pen, 14 acres of grazing. Plenty of scenic hacking routes on and off roads.

Looking for an experienced trainer to bring something extra and help continue to drive our family run business in the right direction.
