Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, open till 9 pm. From today. We intend to have music Wednesday, Curry Thursday.

We had some dissapointed customers with the 9 am start. We are back opening at 8 am.

They are truly tasty, they are going fast!

New opening hours, new springtime, what will be of Sody's next? We are at a cross road.
Proposed timetable churned and what comes out as possible is this. We will try it out and keep you up to date if more changes happen.
Monday- Closed
Tuesday- Wednesday, 9 am till 6 pm. (Tuesday 19th of March closing at 3 pm for personal appointment).
Thursday -Friday, 9 am till 9 pm.
Saturday- to be confirmed.
Sunday -9.30 till 6 pm.

Something else went on today, beside the Sunday Game Club, Sody's welcomed the first Buckt Subscribers with a drink and a game promo. Welcome!

Happy Sunday Club

We enjoyed having Monday Game nights and we have used the experience to reshape Sody's. Thank you to Natalia and Ray for making it happen.
We will rebrand and be called Sody's Cafe and Board Game Bar.
We also listened and understand that we need to be open longer hours for the gaming community.

Our proposed new hours will be 9 am till 9 pm, daily, except Mondays, when we are closed, and closing at 3 pm on Sundays, except on the 3rd Sunday for the Sunday Club.
This also means that we are trying to build a lasting community.
Our pricing will be £2 per person per hour, but we will create a regular gamer pass, which will provide unlimited gaming time at the same price. You will be able to access the pass after the third visit.
This changes will take effect starting Tuesday 19th of March.

Monday game club will stop running from this Monday 18th. We are taking a break to think which days and format suits our business. It's been good meeting new people, we hope to catch up in some form in the future.

Thank you to everyone who came to our inaugural night of Sody's Mondays' Boardgames Club! We've all had an amazing time and can't wait to see you all next week! 🥰🧩 ♟️🎲🎯

Everyone welcome, no matter your gaming experience! Last night saw us dusting off all types of different games from the shelves, lots of party games, two player games, from Articulate and Snakes and Ladders all the way to Wingspan, Inis or Carcasonne...

Some of us even brought pieces from our own collection to share, making the evening all the more fun and versatile!

The air was filled with laughter and the smell of delicious curries and burgers, all tables full of happy faces, meeples and game boards, draft bear or hot chocolate!

Feel free to share and spread the word, anyone is welcome to join the games or just enjoy the atmosphere and just watch!

We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with Jay from Manila Artisan Breads, and he will be in the shop, at Sody's, baking breads and pastries on a daily basis, from the 22nd of January 2024. You might know Jay has he has featured on the Harborne artisan Markets as well as other markets in Birmingham. We fully support his artisan bakes, no artificial additives. We made the room in the first floor of our cafe, and we still have room for six tables. Coffee and pastries, what a dream combo!. Stay tuned for our offers.
