🧵 This is the first item of clothing I’ve made for myself without being at a class, (let’s just say I’ve become very good at stitch unpicking)

I used deadstock / unwanted fabric that had been donated to I’ll make a reel showing you their shop soon!

I’m going to try and slowly start coming back to insta / the shop after almost a month…

Sadly we lost my dad (pictured above in the 1950’s in a great pair of dungers!) last week after a very sudden illness. I’ve spent much of June in hospital every day (alongside my brother) so put the shop on hold.

My dad was a champion of me starting this shop, he was running an online shop for a charity he co-founded at the time so helped me get my head around Shopify and setting up the bits I didn’t find so fun!

I’m still unsure if I’ll get much of a collection together before everyone has all of their kids Summer clothes but will decide that soon.

Sunshine stackin’ ☀️ - this collection was meant to be happening tonight or tomorrow but honestly, I’ve struggled with fitting it in this week 😭 keep saying I want to release more frequent collections but sometimes it just seems impossible.

There’s elastics to be replaced, straps to be fixed, stains to be removed…. A bit of vintage seller reality 🤪

Anywways, it is being prepped and I will figure it out asap! So please stay tuned and thanks for sticking with me 🫶 # # #

Vintage - all about the details!

❤️ One of the many things I love about vintage is the small details you just don’t find so much these days, from unique appliqués to colourful buttons and fun prints to fabulous collars!

💙 I source all the pieces individually, so I can make sure there’s always some of the lovely quirky pieces in my collections - if you can’t have all the fun with clothes when you’re a kid then when can you hey!

Evening! Anyone else’s kids still awake and too hot to go to sleep?!

I’ve just revised the sizing on this fab vintage dress….. I think it’s a size smaller than I thought 🤔

Honestly, it can be so hard with vintage sizing sometimes! Even modern sizing can be all over the place so it makes comparing tricky too… the best advice I can give when buying vintage is know your measurements 😄 📏

If you measure a piece you already have - in length shoulder to hem, pit to pit and shoulder to saddle for dungarees then you can get the best fit for your kiddie ❤️

I always send the measurements to the mailing list before a collection too, so sign up if that’s something you would like to receive.
