Farage is bringing Reform UKs conference to Birmingham in September.

Nigel Farage, Lee Anderson, Richard Tice and Reform MPs have given confidence to far right thugs on our streets by whipping up Islamophobia, racism and anti-migrant rhetoric. Reform attracted the worst racist and even N**i candidates in the general election. At fascist Tommy Robinson’s London demonstration, the vast majority of the 15,000 strong crowd put their hand up when asked if they voted Reform.

LGBT+ History Month 2022 takes place against the backdrop of rising attacks on LGBT+ people—and a renewed militancy in the fight against oppression.
The Tory government appointed Nadine Dorries—a bigot who voted against equal marriage—as “culture wars” secretary. It appointed Kemi Badenoch—a homophobe who mocked trans rights—as its equalities minister. And this comes after the Tories reaffirmed that they wouldn’t acknowledge “non-binary” as a gender identity and firmly shelved plans to reform the Gender Recognition Act.

The recent revelations about the Metropolitan Police’s failures to investigate Stephen Port’s murder of four gay men show the police—and the rotten system they defend—are institutionally homophobic.
But there’s a fightback. We saw that with the thousands of people who poured onto the streets for Trans+ Pride event last summer. And with the thousands that marched on the “Reclaim Pride” protests the following month.

LGBT+ oppression isn’t natural and it hasn’t always existed—it’s a product of our rotten capitalist society. We can have a world without oppression. Come to discuss how we can beat back the bigots and fight for liberation.

Stand Up To Racism

Hi everyone
Here are the details of how to book for the transport to the national demonstration against racism and fascism in London on November 17th. Transport has been provided by Unite the Union and is free for Unite members and their friends and families. If you are a Unite member you will need to phone the regional office to book seats by ringing West Mids Reg Unite office:

Everyone else can book via eventbrite for £5 (+98p for eventbrite, unfortunately). All monies raised will be donated to a foodbank.
