We’re so delighted to welcome Jon Tattersall as our new Vicar of St John’s. Tuesdays Institution & Induction service was a true celebration of the start of a new ministry! Thank you to everyone who came and helped make it such a brilliant occasion, it was fantastic to see so many St John’s faces, new and old.
Tomorrow marks a new season at St John’s, as we gather for the Institution and Induction of our new Vicar, Jon Tattersall. We’re so excited for everything God has in store for us throughout this next chapter!
Do be praying for Jon as he responds to the call God has placed on him.
Thank you to all those who have already dropped off donations for our Resource Days at church this week.
This Harvest we’re collecting store cupboard food; shoes and supplies for new mums & babies to help resource local charities such as Quinton Foodbank and Karis Baby Bank - don’t forget to bring your donations this Thursday & Sunday.

And guess what? We've got some exciting stuff happening on Saturday too! We're hosting a Repair Café and The Life Admin Team as part of the St John’s Community Café. If you've got any household items or appliances that need a little fixing, bring 'em over and we'll do our best to get them up and running again. Plus, if you're struggling with any forms or need help navigating a website, our amazing Life Admin Team will be there to lend a hand. They're experts at tackling any kind of form or question, so don't hesitate to ask for assistance.
Lastly, on Sunday morning, we're shaking things up a bit by moving our church service to Harborne High Street as we join in with the Harborne Carnival. It's going be a blast, so make sure to come along and join in on the fun!
To all our volunteers at St John's. Thanks for all you do! We couldn't get along without you.
Hey, we've got another awesome weekend coming up! So, tonight is all about Friday Night Dinner, if you're free why not join us? It's a great way to be a part of our growing community. Then, on Saturday morning, our Community Café will be open, along with the Repair Café and The Life Admin Team. You can either get some repairs done, grab a cup of coffee, or get some help filling out forms.
We've got Phil Knox coming to speak at our 10am and 6pm gathering! Phil is not only an amazing speaker, but he's also an author and an expert in evangelism and missiology at the Evangelical Alliance. His latest book, called "The Best of Friends," is all about his love for helping people have real and long-lasting friendships. We can't wait to hear what Phil has to share with us!
Hey, guess what? The awesome Community Café is happening this Saturday! If you've got any electronic stuff that needs fixing, feel free to bring it over and let's see if we can revive it. Oh, and by the way, if you're scratching your head about those pesky bills, like council tax, we've got the life admin team ready to help you out with some independent and unbiased debt advice. Sometimes, all it takes is a good chat to figure out your options!
