Outreach Angels

Everyone seems to want/need size 10 trainers so if you have any spare please think of us before throwing away!
Also we have NO sleeping bags and a limited amount of toiletries.

Wanted to thank everyone who donated, sorted, came along and bought and helped this morning to make our first bric a brac / nearly new sale go so successfully.
We made an incredible £1300!
Same time next year???

"Yesterday this pile of blankets was all over the ground filthy, partially wet and frozen having been slept in the night before. I saw a city worker putting the stuff into what looked like a trash bag. Then this morning I walk by the same spot and see the blankets had been washed and folded... made me smile." Well done to the person that took the time to do this!

Sausage (and veggie sausages) mash, veg and gravy! To go with the chicken Thai green curry!
It’s on days like today I am grateful for a large kitchen, cooker and fridge!!

This week is volunteers week!
Outreach Angels happens solely by volunteers and we could not do it without everyone involved.
So a massive thank you to past, present and future volunteers you are all fabulous!!!

Just knocked up some Mac and cheese to feed the veggies tonight along with Hennessey's Bar Birmingham’s curry!

There’s something so satisfying about returning to the van with empty trollies when they were once full!

Whilst I would rather be in a pub beer garden drinking an ice cold beer, there’s definitely worst places I could be cooking veggie dinner for Tuesday night!!

We have had a very busy afternoon at the unit today!
We have had 3 volunteers from Price Waterhouse Cooper on a volunteer day and thank goodness we did as we received a van full of food which we have sorted from Oakland International!
