Some of the first deliveries arrived this week at Emmaus Salford.
One question we get asked a lot is: "What does Emmaus actually do?"
Take Ray as an example. After sleeping on the streets, he was offered a place at an Emmaus community for as long as he needed it. But the support didn't stop there.
Ray took up exciting new work, volunteering and training opportunities, the chance to be reunited with his family, and support to live independently in a home of his own when he felt the time was right.
