Applications are now open for year 5 students wishing to sit the 11+ exam this year.

We are now fully booked for preschool and reception child. If you wish your children to be added to our waiting list we are happy to take enquiries. Please note the waiting list can change as we operate sibling priority.

Another training completed earlier than needed. Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do.

Congratulations to Fatima for completing level I of the Kumon English programme. Although only 10 years old she is working on GCSE and A Level topics.
As her headteacher presented the award, he emphasised on the ambition to achieve the higher levels as an achievement in itself.

A record temperature set in our centre today! Well done to all the children who came in today. We had cold squash on hand!
For all those who follow us from abroad we don't have air conditioning in the majority of the country, so we really feel the heat!

Here is a small selection of certificates left to present following our award ceremony last week.

We have an impressive 37 children working more than 6 months ahead of their peers. Pretty amazing!

We have 15 children working 2 years ahead of their peers! Also awesome!

Our gold award students totalled 16! That is 16 children working more than 3 years ahead. Proud moments indeed!

But let's top it off with the 9 students working in the top 100 in their year group category!

It's been hard work and determination on the part of all the students, parents and staff. Well done all!

The Kumon App is a new and exciting way to learn. It looks and feels just like a worksheet. Many of my students will be taking their tablets on holiday this year. I can set work no matter where they are in the world at the click of a button!

I hope you are all enjoying the extended Bank Holiday weekend!

Thank you for the various donations I have received for the library this week.
For World Book Day this year our centre is celebrating the diversity of our students with these wonderful books donated by the Gangotra family. Why is diversity important in children's books? As Gurbani put it beautifully, 'Mrs Shah, this character reminds me of you. Look she looks like you!' We need more books for children to relate to. Fortunately we are a beautiful range of colours, creeds, faiths and our books should reflect that.
