Lions Giving

The Woodland Trust wants to make sure everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree. So they are giving away hundreds of thousands of trees to schools, sports clubs, parish councils and community groups (free!!). Together, we can get millions more trees and hedges in the ground.

Trees and hedges help foster biodiversity and create habitats for wildlife.

Losing an infant during, or before birth, is a devastating and traumatic experience. District 105-N Lions decided to create the Serenity Suite facility, a specially designed space for families and parents to stay while dealing with the devastation of infant loss. For those who may have watched Britain's Got Talent and saw a choir which supports children with Brain Tumours. It was touching to see the young boy at the front was going to give his winnings (should they win) to Brain Tumour Research.

Lions clubs across the country are trying to raise £1 million pounds for the Brain Tumour Trust.
