We have organised some lovely morning classes over the 6 weeks holiday to keep momentum for those about to make their way into key stage one. Learning through storytelling, children will be able to consolidate their learning from reception in a fun and relaxing environment.

😱Is homework causing a stir each weekend in your house?😱

Our homework club aims to give children a safe space to complete homework to an excellent standard. With a qualified teacher on hand to help, relieve the stress of the weekend homework slog and let us do the hard bit!

In small groups of 6, children are welcome to bring their homework from school with them, to work on in a fun and engaging environment.

💪The work doesn't stop for our super strong year 6 children!💪

After the SATs our year 6 classes continue as normal - they will always be FUN! These classes are used to both secure any gaps in learning from the year 6 curriculum, as well prepare children for the transition from year 6 to year 7. The teachers will plan lessons that begin to cover some of the year 7 objectives, giving children a head start in what will be a very overwhelming few months for them! We will also start to prepare children with some year 7 baseline tests as many schools will have these in place in order to place children in sets in English and maths.

Year 6, keep going, you are amazing! 🥰

The 11+ exam has been a long standing feature of education in Birmingham for many years. It's important that parents understand what children will learn with us when studying for the 11+ exam and we believe in full transparency. We send all of our work booklets home so that parents can see what their child has studied, and when children reach year 5, parents have full access to answer packs.
