On their way to a better future! Kids getting a chance to fully realise their potential at our after school learning centre at Sakhimfundo, Alex Township, Johannesburg. Look how focused they are! Big News! Our youth dance group Sigiya Sonke are South African National Champions for their Pantsula performance (featured in video) AND they were also runners up in the traditional dance category! Wonderful news - the dancers and their tutors have worked so hard for this. And doesn’t their new rehearsal space in our new Sakhimfundo Arts Centre look great?! At last they have the facilities they deserve. Well done everyone involved!

Our team in South Africa have partnered with a local organization called Tree Sweets to respond to the recent looting. If you would like to support families in need with fresh vegetable packs, please see details below.
This is our amazing performing arts centre nearing completion in Alex township, Johannesburg. Called Sakhimfundo, (meaning “building education “), the performing arts facility is the first phase of a bigger vision that will include an education centre and numerous other resources for use by the community of Alex. Our talented group of young dancers, Sigiya Sonke, can’t wait to get their dancing feet through those doors and make the best use of their permanent purpose built home! Watch this space for further information as this project grows and flourishes. Huge respect is due to our directors, project workers, volunteers and donors who made this happen - ALL in the midst of the trauma that has been the coronavirus pandemic. Now that’s awesome!
