Poppy is a lovely year old crossbreed who was abandoned and ended up in the dog pound where fortunately she was given the chance of a foster home where she has been for a few months now and is fully assessed to the home that she needs. Poppy has some separation anxiety which is understandable due to her abandonment but can be worked with in her new home with advice & support. Poppy really thrives off human interaction and is so loving. As much as Poppy would be great in a home without children she is also suitable to live with children who are respectful of her space and boundaries

Patient home needed for Dora and Nora

They are around 12 months old Spayed etc.

Dora and Nora weren’t handled as kittens and we don’t know exactly why or what happened.

They are much more human friendly now than when they arrived, but they need the next stage in their journey now to become their forever home where they can settle.

They are not feral by any means they are just incredibly shy and need patience to come round.

We really need these two girls in their happy ever after as they are growing up fast.

It would be lovely to see them settled.

They will need a room of their own for a couple of weeks before they are given access to explore the house,

Ideally need to be kept indoors until they are fully settled which could take months.
( or a catio )

No children and no dogs.

Apparently this young male was bred and sold from an address as ‘Puppy 8’ and upon contacting breeders they had ‘no contact details’ of said owner of ‘Puppy 8’

About time people were made accountable for the dogs they bring into the world and stop selling to any Tom Dick or Harry 😤😤😤

Maybe if Puppy 8 had of had decent breeders they’d have a trace to whom could of been responsible for throwing this poor boy inside a crate to drown

If this poor boy was already dead they’d not of needed to use a crate so he was in my opinion thrown in alive and the crate was used to stop him getting to the surface

Dead XL bully found locked inside cage in canal The RSPCA has not ruled out the possibility that the dog was alive and thrown into the canal in Birmingham.

BillBen is the most soppiest love bug you could meet! He literally sits in your lap and smothers you with kisses 💋

I met BillBen when I first volunteered at the shelter in 2019. BillBen previously shared with my Charley who’s here with me in the UK and his brother whom once lived with him and Charley ~ his brother is also living in the UK after been adopted a few years ago so surely it’s his turn to find a home 🏡

Spain is a very hard place to rehome dogs. Unfortunately many want guarding type dogs so as BillBen is so friendly and loving in Spain that’s not desirable whereas here he’d be perfect 😍

BillBen is currently kennel sharing with our old girl Kuki and they are living in harmony. He truly is a gent and loves to coexist with a furry friend 🥰

Wren, Ben and Zen are 12 week old Staffordshire Bullterrier Cross puppies that have come to us from a pound. Sadly they were a neglect case and were found extremely emaciated and are still skinny and on 4 meals a day to build them upto a healthy weight.

They are looking for very special forever homes so please read the full write up about what they need before applying.

We are looking for homes that are going to put the time into training them, including taking them to puppy classes, puppies are hard work, they need toilet training, appropriate socialising, getting used to being left alone, walking nicely on a lead and much more.

They have missed out on so much being in rescue so young and will need taking out to different places to get them used to life outside kennels.

They are young enough to get used to living with other animals but are curious and playful so will need to be taught manners around them.

They are going to need homes with a full secure garden of their own and will need someone around most of the day until they are old enough to be left alone.

Please only apply for a puppy if you have the next 15+ years to devote to one.

Existing pets must already be neutered.

Our adoption fee is £220, all our animals are flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and will be on a neutering contract and we cover the neutering once the animal is an appropriate age.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve asked to see previous Rosedene dogs so let’s see them 🥰

Who’s had a dog from Rosedene between 2010 ~ January 2018 when it was closed and all dogs removed? I’ve never stepped foot by there since that time as haven’t many other volunteers

But we know there’s still many Rosedene dogs still out there so please show 🥰

Even ones who may now sadly not be with us please show 💓

My beautiful Karma, passed 27th February this year at 14, and she helped me so much in dog testing the dogs. She walked off lead by them all and many who were deemed dog aggressive : reactive ~ were not when tested with a good balanced dog

A stunning Shepherd boy puppy needing a committed home 🏡

Victor is a beautiful 14 week old German shepherd that came into rescue as he had trouble eating. Victor has something called mega esophagus which means the pipe that takes food from the mouth to the stomach is too big. It leaves food pooling in the throat which can cause regurgitation. He’s currently on sildenafil and omeprazole medication to help this and it’s working great so will likely be on this long term. He’s had absolutely no episodes of regurgitation since being with me. We have had a Bailey chair specially made for him although he will likely outgrow this pretty quickly. He has to be kept upright after feeding for 10 minutes and is currently fed 4 times a day as he still needs to gain weight. He can only be fed on wet food.

This may seem like a big commitment however once you get into the routine of feeding it’s actually an easy process, especially as he gets older and will be trained to sit in his chair. As long as the above steps are followed Victor can live a happy and healthy life

He can live with children, a neutered female dog and cats.

These beautiful babies are 8 week old cane corso puppies. As far as we are aware they are pure bred with no other cross breed.

They were rescued from squalid conditions where they were living in their own mess and were quite literally caked in it. They arrived full of worms but bright and healthy once this was sorted.

They just need their first vaccination and microchip which will be done at the vets soonest appointment and they will be ready for their new homes

They can live with other neutered dogs, children of any age and cats

They will need experienced owners with bull breed experience so please don’t apply if you have little dog experience as they are not an easy breed

Stolen dogs in the Quinton area of Birmingham

A heartbroken couple in is need help to reunite with their two French Bulldogs, Daisy and Siro, after thieves broke into their home on Bolney Road, Quinton and stole both dogs. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, March 7, just as the couple had stepped out for a birthday breakfast. Surveillance footage captured the moment two burglars, wearing hooded tops and masks, entered the home through a side door and specifically targeted the dogs, leaving behind other valuables.

The devastated couple described Daisy as white with distinctive black markings on her eye, back, and tail, along with a scar on her left leg from a previous surgery. Siro is described as blue-grey with white and brown markings on his chest. The couple expressed their anguish and sleepless nights since the incident, highlighting that they had deviated from their usual routine for the birthday celebration, leading to the unfortunate break-in.

Reflecting on suspicious events prior to the burglary, the couple recalled a possible prelude when someone posing as a delivery person visited their home a week earlier. Additionally, a neighbor reported attempting to intervene during the burglary, describing the perpetrators as young white males with a local accent, driving off in a black Nissan Juke with blue mirrors.

The couple shared their distress over the targeted theft of their beloved pets and appealed for any information that could help bring Daisy and Siro back home.
