Back from a superb weekend at Carfest! The weather kept us on our toes, with sunshine, horizontal rain, heat, freezing cold and a super windy Sunday, but it was a joy to be back with our Retrofest family for lots of fun times. The Kate Bush Wuthering Heights flashmob was a highlight! Thanks to everyone who visited our stall, it was lovely to see so many familiar faces and new customers too ❤️

👖What will be for sale on the day? We’ll have vintage clothes, a variety of styles and eras, with sale rails where prices start at £5 and full price new season stock. We’ll also have our ever growing selection of vintage vinyl records, clothing by indie brands like Run and Fly, Hell Bunny and Gr**go, jewellery, accessories and other fun stuff. If you have any questions or are looking for something specific, feel free to message us and we’ll do our best to help!
🚗 is there parking? Yes, plenty of free parking space next to the warehouse
🚂 How do I get there by public transport? The nearest railway station is Bournville, a 5-10 min walk away. The best bus routes are 45, 47, 27 and 76 - get off on Stirchley High St and we are around a 5 min walk from there.
💰How can I pay? We accept cash and card, including contactless/Apple Pay
👗Can I try things on? Yes, we will have changing rooms available

As you can see, James is super excited to be back at Mostly Jazz festival in beautiful Moseley Park! It’s one of our all time favourites, we’ve been away a couple of years but it’s nice to be back at this festival which is literally just up the road from our house! If you’re coming, you’ll see us on the way in so do stop and say hi! 😃

Minimum Mouse - Our Story
We’re all about fun, colourful fashion: whether it’s hand picked vintage, cute and quirky brands or our in house jewellery range, we aim to offer you something that brings you joy at an affordable price.
Our story begins back in the heady days of the mid 2000s, when young couple Marianne and James were fresh out of university and trying to work out how to make their way in the world. James was working as an office temp, and in his spare time he was selling bits and pieces of vintage clothing on eBay. He would spend his weekends trawling the charity shops, jumble sales and car boot sales of Birmingham, and with a nose for a bargain and an eagerness to find the most fun, bright, colourful and crazy pieces he soon discovered he was making more from his eBay side hustle than he was in his dull day job! So once the temporary position came to an end, he took the leap and made a go of selling his wares on eBay full time. Not long after this, Marianne decided to join him, also lusting after the freedom of the self employed life, and in January 2007 Minimum Mouse was born!
In the early days, they sold a mixture of vintage clothing, second hand designer clothing and handmade jewellery we made in our small office above a tattoo shop. Things were going well, but selling online and never meeting your customers can get lonely... so it was time to hit the road! Marianne and James discovered vintage fairs and began selling at LouLou’s Vintage Fair in Birmingham, with many more events following. Meeting like minded people who loved to find fun and quirky clothing was a real buzz, and soon Minimum Mouse were spending every weekend zipping up and down the country in their little van full of treasures!
Fast forward a few years, and we’ve grown a fair bit! We’re now a small but perfectly formed team of lovely people, working out of a warehouse in Stirchley, Birmingham. We still sell a super cool (as far as we’re concerned!) range of vintage clothing, but we’ve added in to the mix so much more - jewellery, accessories, cute and quirky clothing by UK brands and the range is ever growing! You’ll still find us at vintage fairs across the UK, but we also pop up at numerous festivals, exhibitions, Comic Cons and all sorts of other fabulous events, bringing clothes full of colour, fun and a sense of humour wherever we go. We’ve got lots of plans for the future, but our core aim remains the same - to bring our customers the best selection of fun, colourful, and reasonably priced fashion, and to help people to wear what makes them happy.
