Slightly arkward room to plaster for this customer who created an ensuite bathroom to adjoin their bedroom in the attic of this period property.

Another job with KRD Plastering. Recently completed silicone render to all external walls on this bungalow, including a lintel inserted above the window on the front apex. To say that it has transformed this property is an understatement!

Our customer was finding the rooms on the outside of their property noticeably cooler than the other rooms within the house, so we suggested external insulation. We clad the external wall with 90mm insulation before applying silicone render to finish the job. What a difference it has made!

A busy couple of days. Coving removed on a lounge ceiling before being overboarded and skimmed and the fireplace wall studded off and soundproofed before being boarded and skimmed. Tops of the lounge walls skimmed and blended down to patch over the old coving. Then a bay ceiling repaired and skimmed plus a couple of walls patched.

Coving down, old strip lighting out and new cables installed for downlights. 10m Ceiling overboarded and skimmed and the tops of the wall patched in where the coving once was. What a difference a couple of days makes!

Large porch boarded and plastered. Lots of angles but what a difference a couple of days makes!

Last exterior decorating job completed for this year. What a massive difference!!! It’s amazing how a bit of paint can transform the look of your property!

Always nice to see a job through to the end. Old plaster removed, ceiling overboard, all walls boarded and skimmed and then decorated to finish the job. 👍🏻

Chimney breast patched up and skimmed after the fire was removed.

Another job crossed off the list! Patch in the ceiling and wall where fitted wardrobes were, remove the plaster on the window wall, re-board and then skim the room.

Customer is freshening up their bathroom and asked us to sort the ceiling and the lighting out. Old eyeball style lights ripped out and ceiling overboarded. Followed by a skim and the fitting of new LED flush downlights. What a difference a day makes!!!!

So, that’s another one finished. So many little nooks and crannies on this hall landing and stairs but what a massive difference this has made to what we originally walked into. Completely boarded and skimmed including ceilings.

Finished the week off in Aldridge doing a bedroom. Overboard the ceiling, walls patched up then a full skim. Socially distanced of course!!!! 😷

Lounge skimmed, both ceiling and walls. The ceiling was originally artex but it couldn’t be overboarded as the customer wanted to retain the coving. Hallway ceiling also skimmed over.

Dining room ceiling patched back in and then the ceiling skimmed and blended into the kitchen ceiling.

Had a call from Sutton Design to plaster one of their recent Warm roof conservatory installs. Plastered and electrics installed.

Chimney breast tidied up and plastered today.

Bedroom insulated and boarded with vapour boards on the outer walls due to condensation damp. Once plastered the skirting boards were added, a new window board installed then the room was fully decorated including a feature wallpaper to finish the job. It’s all set now for my customers granddaughters to stay over once lockdown has finished. They can’t wait!!!!!!
